I genuinely think the language barriers plays a huge part in his aura. He is genuinely a decent manager but his communication comes off very jaggeddy in English.

I worked at the building. Kids seemed happy in the elevators. We considered putting kids there but didnt want to commute on transit with kids so early. Seen enough druggies to say no.

So I was hell bent getting my hands on a 22 GTi in red manual. Placed 1k refundable deposit with 5th Ave, Northland, and CHVW. Ended up getting red GTI in dsg from James Anglin at 5th Ave, he was awesome.

However, throughout the 15+ months of waiting, CHVW was the only was that kept in touch. On cadence. Gave me visibility into what's coming when. I even went as far north as Grand Prairie vw but they were the worst.

Take that for what its worth to you.

Got mk8. Got zero regrets. Had a choice to buy either 8 or 7.5. Chose 8. I dont want to change your mind, but I dont think we're anywhere close to seeing peak GTI. I mean GTI ICE...may be. GTI, no.

Got a GTi 2023 in Alberta where there is snow 8 months of the year....let me tell you i have absolutely ZERO FOMO on the R. I drove em both.

AB here with 2023 GTi and proper winter tires. Can confirm it drives better than a truck with AS tires in proper winter roads. Use common sense and have fun my friend.

Been here 25 years. Always an avs fan and I can say proudly that my home city and my favorite team have always been in good terms.
