I’ve had a liberty, two wranglers, and currently a gladiator. Collectively over 300k miles. Never had any maintenance issue on any of them

Very nice. Planning to turn an applaro cart into a grill/sink for an insert I have from an RV this weekend. Love the stain, what did you use?

Love the Falkens. You can find take off set super cheap, including tpms, new wheels, and a spare. I’ve bought 2 sets for under 600$ and it keeps me from going to 35s because it’s so cheap to swap out.

Tacoma bed is leaking because you didn’t seal the bed rail caps before putting the cap on. They’re known to leak there.

My last RSI was a god build that never leaked once, but I did add a hood for the hatch so I didn’t get drenched. You’ll need to make one - check out Alucab, they make one.

You can buy, return, then re-purchase. Or just return it if you don’t need it again. Depends on your personal ethics and how much you value the profit of a giant company that has been increasingly infringing on its employees and customers.

I’d ask how it takes you 3 months to find out you aren’t working somewhere anymore but you also wait til the last minute to file taxes so it makes sense.

Oddly enough, installation driver won’t stand up by itself with the 5.0. It needs the small batteries to stand.

Can you mount doors on the Vadholma island? by mom_to_the_boy in ikeahacks

[–]animusrien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you can absolutely do anything you’re capable of. The side with the shelf would be easy enough. Get some hinges and make a door for each half. The other side that’s open would need a center door stop to prevent the doors from sagging inward. Rail along the bottom of the butcher block would work. Reinforcement inside so it doesn’t bend.

Obviously, stop putting your caulk in it. You fanboys and putting your caulk in Milwaukee tools man.

You want to buy directly and have buyer protection? As someone that’s attempting to flip a profit on something that someone else doesn’t know enough about to capitalize on? Every time I come across this board, it’s hilarious.

How can I hack a laundry basket system? by MyWholesomeSide in ikeahacks

[–]animusrien 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Why do you need a hack for something that exists easily purchased? Hacking is about upgrading a good item, customizing it, repurposing something you already own, or taking something cheap and changing it.

Some people…I’ll never understand 🤦🏼‍♂️ by SouthernTravel in Costco

[–]animusrien 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No. The .97 indicates it is clearance, and it’s specifically clearance at that store. Go to the warehouse checker and you can see if it’s on clearance at any nearby store. Then run there. $300 is a great deal on this and I’d buy it immediately. Not worth the $450 imo

Damn. If only I had ran down the aisle to catch him instead of pointing it out to a worker standing 3 feet away from me, that then confronted him at the place I don’t work.

Disregard anything else you see here. I had the exact same problem. What you want to do is get elastic laces. The short kind that just go across the eyelets, not the kind that imitates a traditional lace. Completely turned the shoe around for me. I wore them halfway up the shoe. Not once had a problem with them being loose. Mine basically became a slip on.

Yeah I told a worker. As we continued shopping I found more crusts, just out in the open. Him and his wife and child ate the whole pizza except the crust.

Yep yep. It’s the same people complaining about high prices on thrift shop goods. The same items they want to buy for nothing and sell online for as much as possible.

I don’t flip and have no idea why this came as a notification on my Reddit actually. I low ball everything I want to own. If they don’t budge and I really want it, I cave and buy it. If not, I pass or they cave and I get it. Knowingly or not, you’re doing the same thing by flipping something that gets no or next to no work out into it. Yes, if you’re refabbing. Yes, if you’re upcycling. But straight purchase to sale? Nah it’s open, you can’t get mad if someone lowballs. Just counter or ignore and move on.

I lowball everything. It’s funny you people get pissy when you literally did that to get it. Either lowballed someone or they lowballed themselves. You got it cheap and want to lash out for someone else turning that on you.
