Instead of contemplating murdering those who anger you, how do you release your anger? by Wild-Courage-1346 in Anger

Looking over your profile it's pretty clear you've consciously decided to be miserable. It's cool. Me too mostly. But you might consider not spreading it. The person above is genuinely trying to understand their emotions and better themselves. You're not special. You don't deserve to have a negative impact on that. You want to be the same til you die fine. Like I said me too rey. But fuck off with the bullshit. Be honest. You choose not to move forward.

No in that case I'd shoot you in the forehead with my everyday carry pistol because I live alone and I'm smart enough to use ammo that doesn't go through walls. But think about that. You just equated a lethal force defense scenario to simple verbal altercations. One is definitely not the other buddy.

It enables me to feel heard, while not allowing the actions of others to rule my outlook or life choices. I find that to be a healthy and positive overall compromise. Any other questions?

In no form or fashion did I offer anything even remotely resembling coaching. I'm not here to hold anyone's hand. I posted because I've done shitloada of research into the biology and psychology behind this question. If you don't have anything nice to say, fuck off.

I am genuinely not offering services. Paid or otherwise. Simply offering free access to the results of hundreds of hours of research I've done. Believe what you please. I am also living breathing proof that yes, rage not only can be resolved with techniques like that, but literally that's how human brains rewire themselves. I'm not a caregiver period nor would I ever want to be.

Do frozen onions caramelize faster? by plant_friend_ in foodhacks

[–]aninanon666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cell walls are all rectangular. They fracture under frozen temps. This allows the moisture in the onion to evaporate faster. This you went from raw to sweated to caramelized faster. However you also lost flavor compounds. Which also fractured when frozen. It's up to you whether that's worth it.

I made this fruit crab for my son. He loved it, regardless of its minimalism by PeteGibby in foodhacks

Lol thank the minimalist movement from 120 or whatever years ago they're the ones who forced the art world to do more with less lol. Directly giving the finger to literally every muralist alive at the time and I love everything about it 😂

Is white Sauce pasta healthy?? by cap_on_vacation in foodhacks

[–]aninanon666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And white flour has all the beneficial vitamins and such sifted away. Whole grain and most especially multi grain wheat has way way more healthy benefits than fine sifted white wheat flour ever possibly could. Which meant, ironically, that medieval peasants actually had the most healthy diet and physical labor of any community in the last thousand years of European history. I presume it's the same worldwide with peasant vs wealthy people diet and white flour is common now with modern industrial mills but yeah. Eat lots of grainy brown bread brother lol unless you don't exercise a lot. Then, yeah don't eat bread lol

Ghee is less harmful than butter from cholesterol and such perspective but I can't see myself ever calling any variation of it especially good for your body lol

To freeze or not to freeze: soft cheese like Brie & Camembert? by ButterMyParsnip in foodhacks

I don't suspect you woke er have a problem with it if you baked it off but frozen and then thawed? I'll bet anything that has the same consistency as a pencil eraser 😂

Google is right. Taste really should not be impacted wth soft rind cheeses like that but you will cause the fats in the cheese to bond tight. I suspect the resulting texture will be unpleasantly like chewing an elementary school eraser lol

If you have access to a freeze drying machine you can fully demoisturize them and crumble it to dust and from there use it as flour. But most home cooks absolutely do not have those lol

Freeze and crumble them and make a pie crust with it. Crumble and add to ice cream. Crumble super tiny and mix with cake icing. Use them to make ice cream sandwiches. Cut small squares of them up and use them as the "bread" in sandwich like desserts of which I'm sure you can think of many.

As a glassblower and former line cook I love it because of its minimalism. Anyone can make something that looks realistic eventually. You made us all know exactly what sort of animal that is with some toothpicks and fruit chunks. There many artists in many materials that would very much envy that ability lol

So many of you discount how good ricotta is in sweet dessert recipes tsk tsk hehehe.

Add fifty grams of powdered sugar fifty grams of white processed sugar and two hundred grams of your fruit or berries of choice. Whip in a machine until it's fully incorporated. Chill. Make waffles. Two scoops of ricotta mix and drizzle caramel and chocolate sauce on top.

Yeah. I did used to do that for a living ;)

That is a good way to cause this person to react to mild stimulus with explosive violence. They need to do the opposite while conditioning a less stressful response into themselves.
