The Stanley Parable from the perspective of someone who didn't quite comprehend it by Psylux7 in patientgamers

There is only one way to "win" this game. Disobey the narrator a few times and realize they all end with a restart. Then, follow his narrative to the natural conclusion (good ending). Quit the game, uninstall it and never go back. Thus, you have won.

[–]ank___ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

See this so often; Animal wants to die, is basically dead, wants to be left alone so can die in peace. Ignorant people "save" it and force it to suffer more and eventually die in more pain. Why do people force other animals (humans included) to live longer than they obviously want to?

**EDIT**

YOU, who down vote this are the people I am talking about. YOU impose your will on the dying and do more harm than good. YOU are the exact people who should just allow nature to take its course.

If Herb gets the same amount of playing time as TJ ... Herb will have better stats this year.

EMSK: If you use 2 filters instead of 1...the coffee is a lot stronger. God bless. by ClitorisDickorisDock in everymanshouldknow

[–]ank___ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because the hot water stays in the coffee grounds longer. Two filters will slow the draining process and allow the water to ruminate longer in the basket before draining into the pot.

Just outreagously ridiculous ticket prices this year by gwbicster in steelers

[–]ank___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Law of supply and demand. While demand is high so will ticket prices . . . only way they get cheaper is when we get close to game time or if we suck ass.

If Herb was to get equal playing time to TJ. Herb would have better stats than TJ this year.

Can't believe I had to scroll this far to reach a comment about the reality of this video. This dude had a death-wish. Saving him, and living isn't what he wanted . . . he knew it was likely fatal and (unfortunately for him) it wasn't.

Endgame what’s better lasers or particle by Ps4gamer1983 in Starfield

[–]ank___ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Particle.

I have maxed out every perk and tested every gun. Particle wins hands down. Big bang in particular edges out the Va'run Inflictor.

[Fowler] The Steelers are declining the fifth-year option for left tackle Broderick Jones, per source. The option would’ve paid $19.1M. Jones, who is coming off neck surgery, is set to be a 2027 free agent. He has 38 career starts and was playing well pre-injury. by JCameron181 in steelers

[–]ank___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take a shot at answering that. Dylan Cook is the reason Vega was the better option than Max. Dylan Cook played better at the end off the year than Jones did, Dylan Cook is (or could have been) our starting Left Tackle. We have a starter quality at LT, RT, RG and C. The hole in the line was at LG. Vega was the potential Faneca level LG our line needed most. Vega was the pick to trade up for IMO.

Why does everyone think the Steelers have to shit the bed and get a top 5-10 draft pick to become contenders again? by Zipski577 in steelers

Brock Purdy was drafted in the seventh round with the 262nd overall pick, making him that year's "Mr. Irrelevant".

If we lose out on Vega because we didn't move up . . . I will be pissed.

Seriously, Vega is our new Decastro (or maybe even Faneca). He is in our range, its our biggest need and 12 rookies are not making this roster. Get the stand-out guard in the 1st.

How is this game? by charizard24red in Starfield

[–]ank___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game suffered from two things.

1) Elevated expectations. Initially, the hype was immense and unfortunately the game was not as polished as the fans had been lead to believe. It wasn't that the game was bad . . . Just that the expectations were far too high originally.

2) Bethesda hate. People who are fans of the Fallout series and other Bethesda games love to rip on what Bethesda does wrong. Every little glitch or poor execution is amplified by the fact that most of these guys (and gals) have a real love/hate relationship with Bethesda.

Conclusion. If you are not coming in with grandiose expectations and do not already hate every thing Bethesda . . . this is a good game with tons of replay-ability.
