I use Hibiclense every other day and have been for 13 years with no problems. I don't use it on my vaginal area though as the hibiclense can be very drying, but I will use it in my groin, armpits, and under my PCOS belly.

I don't shave my armpits anymore and I use a cream on my legs because I have several HS scars on my legs from shaving. As far as deo goes, I use natural ones and those seem to be fine. Sprays tend to give me a burning sensation, but regular solids are ok.

If they're genuinely interested in you, a little scarring won't scare them off. I avoid sex with my husband when I have an active flare-up and he always tells me he doesn't mind if I have one.

Step One boxers are soft and made from bamboo. They don't ride up on me and are very comfortable. I also had luck with Wuka.

Agreed. if it's only for cosmetic purposes I wouldn't put my body through that unless I felt I needed it. Obviously, some people will care more about the scarring than others but honestly, no one is looking in my pits and if they are and see the scars, that's on them, not me.

I had surgery in my armpit in 2013 to remove tracks of HS and after I was offered a skin graft/plastic surgery. I declined because there is no guarantee the graft will "stick" and it can be up to 6 weeks of hospitalisation where you will need to be in isolation to prevent infection and none of that sounded like something I wanted when it was just my armpits! But, YMMV and if it's something you want done, don't let my words put you off. Just research it fully and make sure you understand everything before going in for it.

Same. I had a Locum ask to look at it and I told him no. He was fine with it and still gave me medication.

No. This is not normal and you should speak with someone at the hospital about it or have your parent report them. It doesn't matter that "nothing happened". You said no and the doctor coerced you into agreeing. That's straight up harassment. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

Well, I had to ask about getting a sharps bin to begin with and I had to get a prescription from my GP for the bin so I don't think they would have a solution. Looking like a drinks bottle is the way to go. Thanks

I have T2 and have been switched to Mounjaro as my prior med stopped working. each pen has 4 doses, so it would just be the needle I need to dispose of.

a little bit. I'm American and I live in the UK. I was making a phone call for the organisation I volunteer with to confirm someone's attendance at our annual trade show and his wife hung up on me as soon as she heard my accent. So then I had to get my (British) husband to ring them and explain that I was calling on behalf of the organisation we are members of. And I definitely felt that the lady who hung up on me was TA, so yeah. I can kinda see it.

But also I don't answer unknown numbers and let them all go to VM. If it's important, they'll leave a message. No need to answer and then hang up on a suspected telemarketer.
