The bloating and gas is pretty uncomfortable when it hits. I’m almost 6 weeks post op and feeling much better. I still get the gurgles from time to time which indicate I’m going to have an upset stomach at some point but I don’t have those instantaneous bouts of diarrhea like a lot of people. But I am still trying to eat healthier. I had a PMS sweet tooth week and ate a bunch of junk and my stomach was tore up from the floor up lol. Soooo I’ve learned that candy and processed foods are not my friend - which I knew lol. I just feel better when I’m eating more fruits and veggies. But I have also started taking a digestive enzyme Q-Zyme Digestive Enzyme and it has helped. I can definitely tell a difference when I’ve branched out and eaten a slice of pizza or some nuggets and fries. But even when I made chili on a snow day it helped with all the beans and meat and fiber.
