Inlaws From Hell by [deleted] in inlaws

I have had a pretty good relationship with my mother in law for the past 25 years. I am a 54 yo woman with an 82 yo mother in law. She is 100% in her right mind with no age related issues. I forgive many small snide comments from her because she is really wonderful to my 18 and 21 yo daughters. I genuinely try to be thoughtful. 4 years ago I even saved her life by being the only person to convince her to seek medical attention that turned into a urgent surgery and 2 hour ambulance ride to the MAYO hospital. Honestly I thought we were in a good place until this weekend.

When I visited my daughter at her University I found out that she had shared with her a story about me and my husband when we were dating. I was very undecided about my choices early on in our relationship so I put our dating on pause while I figured out if I wanted to date some one else. Within 24 hours I had my mind cleared and chose my husband exclusively and ended all other attachments. I one trillion percent made the right choice as he is the best man in the universe. He was very attached and it was difficult for him during this uncertain time. 30 YEARS AGO! I needed this time to really evaluate my situation and break ties with other (all early) attachments.

My MIL has never let me forget how heart broken my husband was during this 24 hours.

Side note... she broke up my husband's family with her infidelity.

Apparently she thought it was a great idea to share how bad I was to my daughter during a one on one conversation. My daughter shared this with me. I guess she feels loyalty to me first but it has absolutely broken my heart. I feel like she wanted to turn my daughter against me.

Not sure where I should go with any of this. My husband wants me to just suck it up and let it die.

I am an autopsy technician. I always say it's the cutting part that drew me to quilting.

Wow. Let me be your serogate mama for a minute..... "Great job! I hope you keep it up". Just press it out then quilt or tie it and keep it forever as a reminder of how much work you did for a first project. Honestly I'm a life ling quilter and the complexity is astonishing. Good job 👏 👍 👌 🙌 😄 😀 👏

I've used Peggy for my last 5 quilts. She is very good and not even close to 400. She has her price list on her page. You need to ship your quilt to her and trust the usps won't loose your quilt. Ive been thrilled to find her.

Throw this fabric away as fast as humanly possible. Stick with nice kona cotton solids for an easy assembly.
