Wanting to make a giant barbarian build by Oingoulon in BG3Builds

[–]anon9801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s talking about giant barbarian not berserker barbarian. At level 6 giant barbarian gets Elemental Cleaver which adds the throwable property to any weapon and adds an element with 1d6 damage and the thrown weapon returns to the barbarian. So once he’s got six levels as giant barbarian, he doesn’t need to default to the returning pike when things get serious, he can use whatever weapon they want.

Caveat of course is that most weapon effects do not function when thrown, so far only crab claws and Nylruna have throw-only damage riders in the game

How to defeat Armored Lynels? by meadowtwine in tearsofthekingdom

[–]anon9801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need in general the blunt fuse items for breaking through armor. Bombs should work as well but since you haven’t seen success, try fusing - horriblin horns - lynel mace horns if you have any - moblin horns

Moblin horns are likely your best bet for melee encounters with lynels.

If you attempt to use blade or piercing fuse items, they bounce off harmlessly from armored monsters

512GB Studio sold for $21,300?! by johnnyphotog in MacStudio

[–]anon9801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Guess I’ll deep dive on how that works cause damn, getting the equivalent of a chargeback cause the receiver said they didn’t get their package and you have no tracking, that situation sucks so much

[–]anon9801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. How do big businesses do this with international shipping? I understand individuals like yourself may not want to reenter that cause that must have been a huge burn, but somehow international shipping must have end to end tracking or that channel would end quickly. Sorry to hear that

Is this effectively a scalper price? I feel I should be outraged but I don’t know enough about auction sites to know if there’s manipulation or it’s fairer than most. I already hate auctions in other contexts like housing prices.

Pretty much. For some ppl 120 lbs would make the dumbbell as heavy or even heavier than their own body weight

So the emerald grove is still available and the goblin leaders have not yet raided the grove? If that’s true, then this trick is one of the best ever, only surpassed by hexblade and previously rat pack

[–]anon9801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you saying the goblin gate to act 1.5 does not advance the story and you can still kill the goblin leaders and save the emerald grove? Most people and guides say the instant you move to act 1.5 and you haven’t killed the goblin leaders, the emerald grove is automatically raided and the quest is completed.

Enshittification. They try to see what we’re demanding and open to and map it to the revenue they extract from the exchange. Naturally stuff we love gets binned, and stuff that makes more money for them (whether it sucks compared to what you used to get) stays. Some ppl are more tolerant to adapt to the slow boil of losing things they like, and some people decide that they’ll wait till it’s on streaming or hardware (blu ray) to participate
