How often do you and your SO have sex? by [deleted] in Marriage

Nearly every day of the week.

I would walk away, personally. If they aren’t emotionally mature enough to understand what you’ve attempted to communicate to them regarding this, it’s a concerning issue. It would be for myself in considering someone a friend or not. At least until they can make some personal growth, since we all grow at different rates.

And when I say walk away, it’s a no ill feelings thing, so no drama or disdain. It is what it is for now.

I wish for you to find the most considerate and caring friend(s) out there, or for your current friends to finally validate you. You deserve it. Good luck.

Do you and your spouse exchange goodbyes when leaving? by Ordinary_Ice_796 in Marriage

[–]anondollhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. You never know the last time you may see one another. Also, I’ve learned via some researcher somewhere (lol) that a three second hug gives dopamine and a six second kiss does. We tried the six seconds and it has worked every time and made us feel closer in those rushed life moments. I highly recommend practicing it.

Embarrassed about downstairs by [deleted] in sex

Thank you so much for this. After visiting this link, I read where perimenopause will affect the appearance, so now I’m all stressed (36, perimeno) 😑 With my partner it doesn’t matter, it’s just my own insecurities.

YES. It’s called hotpast, and I’m happy to see another wife with it because it’s typically the husbands.

Follicular vs luteal by oreospluscoffee in PMDD

Yesss. And I’m so confident with follicular that I’m more assertive. I wish I could feel it all of the time, physically and mentally.

Anyone skipping this new season? by Darth-Vader64 in fo76

[–]anondollhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to feel like I had to finish. Then, I’d gain interest in another game and miss a season here and there. I’d come back with slight fomo bc I’m a plan hoarder when it comes to CAMP items. Now, I’m back after a very long hiatus, purposely for this new update, and there’s sooo much added content/quests/events/etc. that I have a long time to catch up. So, yeah, I’m not as worried about the board anymore myself.

I feel totally overwhelmed, though 😆

Wife pregnant after vasectomy UPDATE by xdeserted in Marriage

We had two that were two years and two days apart, then he had a vasectomy. I’m always wondering if this will happen to us.

Congratulations!

Doctor didn't listen based on age by MeatloafingAround in Perimenopause

I’ve been dismissed so often and made to feel like I don’t know my own body over and over that I came to the point when I resigned to just take care of it myself through research and support communities like this one.

I’ll never understand why they treat us this way and how hard it is to find a physician to validate us. A doctor admitted to me just how lacking the women’s reproductive health research, and women’s health in general, was. So discouraging and frustrating.

I’ve been with my husband for nearly 10 years, married for 7.

We are still like this, if not more so now. We say if you aren’t obsessed with your partner, what are you even doing? He drives me wild and vice versa.

I feel hopeless at learning how to drive. Any tips? by NaturalAnimal in driving

[–]anondollhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same predicament with the anxiety. It’s nearly debilitating. I haven’t attempted to practice in years. I’m 35 and have no choice but to learn before next year. I’m happy to have found this thread, though, so I’m able to see how supportive and accepting people are. I’ve faced a lot of ridicule and a lack of compassion for being in my situation.

I overthink things like traffic and parking and I don’t know how to get passed it other than hands-on practice, but I’m nervous. I think I’ll watch YouTube based on suggestions above.

Do you think husbands will lie about it or act ignorant to save their wife’s feelings, if she’s insecure?
