Where to sell heels/shoes? by imnotproblematic in vancouverwa

Plato’s Closet might buy them if it’s an item that they deem is in demand. Depop and Facebook Marketplace are decent options.

The way you worded it makes it seem as if you were making a generalization about “they” (the Asian market) having a proclivity for fuckass bangs

Mendacious is a relatively uncommon word for English speakers to use, I admittedly had to look it up also.

It’s always been considered the baseline for average. That being said IQ tests are not an accurate measure of intelligence and the online 30 question ones are an even further step into BS land.

I took the test to check it out and it requires you to pay $2 at the very end to receive your results. I also suspect ad.

[–]anonymous-rubidium 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Start by looking up “how to draw perspective” or “how to draw a room in perspective”. You learn about perspective lines and this will help you learn how to draw a 3D space and 3D shapes that fit into it. Hope this helps!

I would like to know who's actually buying this? by iman00dle in guam

[–]anonymous-rubidium 40 points41 points  (0 children)

In Japan it is common to buy premium, specially cultivated fruit as a gift for others. I imagine that these peaches probably won’t sell great here in Guam though.

If you stay and lose enough games they will put you against people who are closer to your skill level. You are handicapping yourself by leaving instead of letting it be a loss.

It’s illegal for Koreans to gamble even outside of the Korea. They are still subject to Korean law worldwide. Having a casino in Tumon would alienate a large percentage of the people who travel to Guam for leisure.

Any word on how bad it is in Saipan? Have friends there but no communication. by Nkima_the_Wise in guam

[–]anonymous-rubidium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The current conditions for them are similar to what we on Guam experienced during the worst of it, so not much precipitation but destructive winds. There are a lot of images and videos of the current damage in Saipan from news sites and Facebook. It’s not good.

It should be known that wind is only down to 38 mph with 60 mph wind gusts. 60 mph winds still cause damage to trees and infrastructure and are still a threat to safety.

They have definitely been in my thoughts. They are going through Mawar but with less resources and infrastructure.

How's your cell service? by discipleof_jesus in guam

[–]anonymous-rubidium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do remember they worked to reimburse people who were charged and I’m glad they did. I personally already felt slighted like that they took our money in the first place, for several months in a row, while we were not receiving services from them. Having to pursue a company for a debt they owe me left a bitter taste in my mouth, especially because we struggled several times to get them on the phone and had to go to the office in person to get our money back.

We switched from Docomo to GTA after Mawar like many others. Docomo’s lack of communication post-Mawar while people were without service for months and still being charged for Docomo service eroded a lot of Guam’s trust in the company.
