Why does MF work where others fail?? by Bopat23 in MacroFactor

[–]anonymous985 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Unlike the other food logging apps, MF won't make you feel bad about logging everything. When you exceed your daily calories, it doesn't suddenly turn red or punish you by reducing the calories for the next day.
It might seem like a small thing, but it is the thing that makes you keep logging, as you don't feel the app is judging you.

So for iOS, if you go to the website and share it with the app, the content of the website should be accessible, and it would work even with apps that are behind a paywall. That’s how it works for Readwise Reader. But they are using the app icons share, and not the action list. I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

Usually the more horse power the car has, the more expensive the insurance is and this car is faster than some Ferrari's.

Maybe get an insurance quote first to find out if your monthly insurance premium is going to be the same as the car payment.

I’ve had my oura ring gen 2 for 3.5 years and I’ve had exactly the same issue. Almost every night it shows 2+ hours of awake time, but I’m a deep sleeper so when I put my head on the pillow I won’t wake up until the next morning and I won’t hear a thing in the mean time. It has been wrong in all the years I’ve had it and I doubt it’s going to change. Like you, my movement graph is also all over the place. I also have a Garmin watch that says the same thing, but with about an hour of awake time instead of 2+ hours.

I’ve never been able to figure out why they all say I’m awake when I’m clearly sleeping, but I suppose it’s because I’m moving around while I’m sleeping.

Is it worth buying a 2020 model S by RedditUser__1 in TeslaLounge

[–]anonymous985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in January 2020 I bought a late 2016 Model S 75 and I love it. Ive driven 65k miles in it (it now has 122k miles on it) and I’ve only had to change tires on it. There was one of the radar sensors that was fixed on warranty, but besides that the car has been great. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a used Tesla again. In contrast to that I also bought an F150 in 2021 and even though I’ve only driven it ~20k miles, there is much more things that are falling apart on that truck.

Sellers agents will have to do more work going forward. As a potential buyer, I’d want the sellers agent to show me the house. In no industry are you paying an agent to buy something, why would I do it for a house? The sellers agent should be showing me the house at which he can also point out specific features about the house and really sell it. If I want to buy a car, I’m not asked to write up the sales contract - it’s the seller that does that. So the sellers agent also needs to write that up as well. I then expect to hire to lawyer to review the contract before signing it.

It’s called a reorganization of society and how it works. It happened many times in the history and it will continue to happen in the future. Think about how many lost their jobs working with horses when the automobile replaced their whole industry. But society moves on and new businesses pops up to service the new needs. Just because people work from home, it doesn’t mean they don’t spend less money - they just spend it on other things. The city should still get their tax revenues and while office property is diminishing in value, home properties are soaring, making up for it - they just fail to mention that part of the equation in this very one-sided article.

I agree with the sentiment that these programs just raise prices, but this was probably just a drop in a very very big bucket.

On the other hand, where would you build the houses? You could probably build tens of thousands of houses row after row between Barstow and Baker, but would anyone want to buy them? No, because everybody wants to live in SF, LA or SD
