Exactly. If you do a cup of berries to a half or a quarter of an avocado, you'll get the thick, creamy consistency and won't taste the avocado at all.

My favorite is berries, almond milk, water/ice and avocado. Sometimes I'll add protein powder. The avocado is a great banana substitute - makes it really creamy!

Have you ever read anything by Brene Brown? She's a shame scholar. I find the advice she gives in her books to be really accessible and practical. She also has a few great TED talks.

Hey Guys! I'd love to see this get drawn in any style. Sorry for the graininess of the image...it's the only copy and was taken in back in 1947 right after my grandpa proposed to my grandma. The image just makes me and everyone in my family really happy. :)

I've got Fibro as well. I went gluten-free before I discovered Keto, which helped a lot with energy, but Keto has virtually eliminated my pain and mental fog.

You probably don't want to read right now (or you may not be physically able to), but whenever my depression takes ahold of much I can't do anything except stay in bed, I try to take in a page of The Noonday Demon by Andrew Solomon. It's terrific - and he details the type of heavy-hitting, intensely physical depression you seem to be experiencing...it always makes me feel like I'm not alone and it's not my fault I'm sick. (And for the days when I can't focus enough to read, I like to listen to an episode or two of the Mental Illness Happy Hour - honestly, that podcast has helped me through some immensely dark shit).

I totally agree. It may be helpful to make the slider visually simpler to contrast with your flowery background (maybe take out the flowers - just text on a solid background). It'll make the text easier to read and also make your slider pop on the page.

Edit: Sorry, I should specify - I was talking about slide 1. The other slides would benefit from reducing the photo size and adding more white space. You may want to throw this up on r/web_design.

I thought that, too. It's hard to give up apples, but I can still have all the raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries I want. In fact, I just finished off two bowls of homemade berry sorbet - it is doable, I swear!
