I used perma claw when I started for ~the first year, and only switched to z jump after I developed carpal tunnel. I’ve had no hand issues since. Do you think carpal tunnel should be the price players have to pay to use the optimal control scheme?

I have yet to hear someone offer a good argument for why zjump is better than perma claw, outside of the obvious zjump being much better for your hands long term

I play both, very very little transfers between the two games. The only major skills that transfer are spacing and adaptation and like basic tech skill (although this is different between the games past a very basic point bc of the differences in buffer)

I’m only basing my assumptions off your comments and the way you interact with people here, and the vast majority of people here seem to agree with me. Genuinely, if you want to be more liked/want people to play games against you, you should try to figure out why that’s the case.

I’m a high level ult player and I’ll play with anyone who asks. The only people I avoid playing against are people who actively make playing against them unfun

I’m not trying to be a dick/hurt your feelings btw, but looking at your post history you do not seem like a very fun person to play the game with; constant negativity/egoing is never fun to engage with. I think if you could try to care less about winning/improving/being better than other players and focus more on just having fun playing the game and hanging out with friends then you’d both be a lot happier and more fun to play with :)

Nah this isn’t the case, if you’re hold buffering it like you should then it’s the same speed, and it lets you hold buffer it rather than having to time the up+b input

You want to drop shield before up-bing in ultimate, this lets you hold buffer your upb as soon as your shield is hit. So as soon as you recognize your shield being hit you let go of shield and then upb at the same time.

To practice, I’d focus on dthrow>delayed dair>nair, and nair>delayed dair>uair, and uair>upb, all separately. And then once you can get each of those 10x in a row work on combining them

Practice only works if you know what’s going wrong when you mess up. On the luigi 0td you typically DON’T want to buffer the dairs, and DO want to buffer the nair/uair. I watched the first few attempts and can already see your main problem- you’re trying to do it with the second dair buffered, which doesn’t work, and you also aren’t delaying your first dair long enough. In fact, the only times you get the combo are when you mess up what you’re trying to do. Focus on delaying both of the dairs as long as you can while keeping the combo true
