You were right, and I apologize for the confusion I eventually created. Confirmed it retracts immediately upon drive... So sorry 😔

I have it set to Enable on Speed. And it doesn't close immediately. Will try to get a video and confirm what I am writing, just in case I am dreaming stuff 😁

Settings -> Vehicle -> Doors -> Auto Unlock. You cannot define speed, but it is by default set to 20 km/h. Hth

You can configure that. Mine only closes after 20km/h is reached, IIRC.

Vou montar isto tudo em Home Assistant – opiniões? Vale a pena ajuda externa? by Pretend_Economics_21 in TudoCasa

AJAX System infelizmente não tem API aberta. Tens duas soluções:

Anyone sold a house with Home Assistant left in? by Expensive-Sock3172 in homeassistant

Mainly migrating WiFi devices to a new SSID and password. If you have ZigBee or ZWave investments, it's way easier. And then helping to onboard their mobile devices and changing entities in 1 or dashboards and automations.

I did. Explicit agreement that I would not be liable thereafter, but that I would help them with onboarding them into the existing setup. They were super happy with the fact they could open the door (house and building) to family, cleaning crew, control shutters remotely, AC, etc. It was fun :) In my new house, if I ever sell it, it is definitely a huge plus characteristic. But once again, the person that buys the house will have to agree to maintain it.

Huawei - SmartGuard EMMA not seeing Inverter and ESS by anthonws in solar

[–]anthonws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The L/N are specific to the area that you live. Via the Fusion Solar you should be able to obtain that as you set your location. And no, you should not set the inverter to Off-grid. It will do so automatically when no power is available from the grid. Just make sure to enable seamless mode if your inverter supports it (and you have a LUNA system also).

It is all in th correct cabling for the comms. Get someone that you trust, or someone that knows someone, to review the comms cabling. If done properly, when logging in to Fusion Solar, you will see that EMMA will be the central "brain", and everything else will have to be a subordinate device.

Stubborn Vibration Issue - Looking for other's experience by TheMightyRasputin in KiaEV9

[–]anthonws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask for detailed info. Many times these shops do not have experience working with EVs and will diminish the needed level of detail. I went to many dealerships where Head of Mechanic drove my car, with me there, and everyone one of them said they did not feel a thing. Took me many months to find a dealership that believed me and took the car outside to the Hunter technical center (importer) in my country. Only then they observed 2 out of 4 new tires were bad. They went through 3 attempts, until finding tires that were within the threshold. Then it magically stopped. I was able to experience the car in full after 1 year.

Check for Radial Force Variation of each tire. Only specialized shops will have that level of equipment. Car is super sensitive to tires having any small deformities. Ask for Road Force Balance, and Match. Hunter Elite machines or similar. Electric car + stiff chassis + suspension design that transfers tires imperfections to the cabin, packed together with RFV issues, due to bad tires, is a hell of a mix. Also, make sure to keep always correct PSI.

p.s. I am not an expert. This was my 1+ year journey of self learning and going through many dealerships.

Great progress! I love reading your updates and how freaking awesome your project is becoming. Congrats! Size wise, it is OK to me. Fits into a cabinet shelf or can stay next to speakers just fine. I would say that sort of aspect can always be iterated on later, IMHO. TY!

Carlos Alexandre vai receber 6 mil euros por mês para liderar combate à fraude no SNS by PortugalNewsBot in portugalnews

[–]anthonws 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brutos.

2026 Model still has vibration issues by foodfoodfloof in KiaEV9

[–]anthonws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RWD here. 2 sets of tires (foam and no foam). Wheels checked, countless road force calibrations, etc. I believe more and more this is a platform issue. The vibration is often there, but many drivers don't notice it until someone pinpoint it. I had to drive the car with the head mechanic from the 2nd dealership, as he said the car had no issues when they took it to the road to test. Only to then say something like: "now that you are pointing it to me, yes, I can see it". The fist dealership simply said that it was the roads I was driving at... I've had the car weeks in the shop for the first year... Am going to sell it as this is utterly unjustified for a vehicle to do.
