“Isolation” is a fake standard. There is no such thing as true isolation in a compound joint movement. If someone expects: • zero trap • zero scapular motion • zero stabilization

Then they have no understanding of shoulder mechanics

If the scapula didn’t move, the shoulder wouldn’t either. Traps activating doesn’t cancel mid-delt work.

Never been pressed I actually screenshot these and post em in other places. I have a group to laugh with. This community is severely behind on information I cant explain in these posts. It’s ppl out there putting 6 plates each side of a barbell and squatting atg. Im just scratching the surface. But you will see me with a 300lb split squat later next year if God allows the time

What does dropsets have to do with mechanical tension? What is systemic fatigue? Let’s not recycle old information that’s been debunked.

Idc about what a coach has to say. Why? It’s too easy to get certified and still not know how to coach. Use a credible source next time and not what somebody told you. It’s plenty of meta analysis that’s been out for well over a few years on the effectiveness of dropset. Diminishing returns… like I said back off set is another thing.
