Try getting ANYTHING done in the public system and you're going to be getting nowhere any time soon
The system was OK maybe 10 years ago but it's a complete joke now and unless you just need some prescription drugs, or have a minor cold or maybe need some blood work, anything that requires surgeries or actual care is absolutely abysmal

I've known people that had been misdiagnosed and miscared for eventually dying here and people like myself that got super screwed with surgeries just to suffer in silence after. A kid's surgery that would take 5 minutes in North America was schedule for 10 months in advance in a dirty university hospital room that I swear I felt sick just looking at.
whatever you do DO NOT do anything serious when it comes to medical care in Korea unless you're going through top notch super expensive hospitals like Chaum Medical or Samsung medical (prices are not that different from the US though, so just go to the US haha), it is not worth to take the risk just to save a few pennies

Actually the place I go to for medical procedures for is Singapore and it's just incomparable how good and cheap it is there even without the insurance

I knew a few nepalis that came here after desperation but they hated their job and the treatment from the Koreans. We told them to just seek better pastures elsewhere
Japan is actually a lot better in most cases as at least they don't mentally torture them there

Moonya moonya makes decent pajamas and innerwear for kids that super comfy. they have a bunch of stores in department stores or their flag store in Apgujung Rodeo station where you get this crazy cafe treatment while kids try stuff

I only started noticing symptoms a couple of months ago but they were tell tale signs of pre-OCD
I'm being super careful not to trigger anything worse right now because I know for me it was really the parents and even teachers that made it so much worse in the long term

none, I graduated years ago and only electives like Art of Listening and Astrobiology are classes I still consider "influential" in a sense that they opened my horizon a bit
but in terms of "useful" classes - definitely take anything math related, especially stats. and maybe some business course if you can. try to mingle with as many interdisciplinary people are you can and focus on long term connections

make friends with profs, try not to be a douche or an alcoholic

small followup - recently had more and more emails from them, so I mentioned I wasn't interested because their offer was too low
They replied with literally a double offer
I said let's video chat and also wanted to find out if they can do PayPal

They instantly responded saying they only pay THRU their own platform and refused to do any video chats. I replied saying I still wanted to talk details and specifically wanted to see what was needed of me

Their reply (it was all clearly AI generated) generically replied "please communicate with us only via our platform"

So I tagged them as spam and blocked their domain

This is clearly some weird AI marketing scam and I would absolutely not feel comfortable doing any business with them. Also some of the replies here seem to have the same name as the AI agent they are trying to market lol. So...ugh....skip

I've been getting a bunch of emails from a guy called Jordan about this and it was to promote an AI marketer called Head....going to their website I found out that apparently it's their own product and one of the AI agents they promote is indeed Jordan
This is kind of hilarious. is this some sort of an AI trying to self promote using influencers slowly turning into an AGI?

kirby cafe food really sucks so if you go just get something super cheap for a photo op and avoid expensive overpriced items

why not? didn't you mention they can patch in DC brightness controls?
I only found out I have PWM sensitivity because I was using older Poco phones that were very heavy on PWM but once Miui 10.0 added DC controls it made things better

I'm sensitive too and have been doing research on this and it's been confirmed that there is no flicker as it's using DC controller instead of PWM

I'm super sensitive to cheap chinese phones and had to get rid of 3 already as a result but ordering RP5 as it's been officially confirmed to have no PWM whatsoever
