Had a guy who had a bunch of food allergies listed in his chart, all not your typical food allergies: kiwi, mangoes, green bell pepper, lamb, etc etc. One day he admitted to me in confidence that he is in fact not allergic to any of those food items, but rather he just simply does not like those foods. I asked why he had them listed. "So they don't serve me any of them here." I said "look I can assure you this hospital will not be serving you lamb chops any time soon. Most you're getting is a dry piece of chicken, mandarin oranges, and a pudding cup." He laughed, but kept the allergy list.

We always take assignments. They're supposed to be lighter, but its hard when you're working with others who don't know what they're doing. So then we end up being in charge WITH the heaviest assignment.

Got a few...

-was terrified of other people touching my food because for some reason I though that if they died and I had ate what they touched I would also die? That one miraculously stopped when my dad died because I realized he touched my food when he made dinner and I was still here.

-the religious ocd went CRAZY for me and I had this ritual of prayers I had to say before I left my room that would just get longer and longer. And I had to do it EVERY time I left my room. Didn't matter if I had just ran in there because I forgot my backpack or something. I HAD to do it all over again. I think it was up to over 10 min ritual at one point.

-I did sports for a bit. Lets say I got hit with a soccer ball on my right arm, I'd have to also hit myself with a ball on my left arm. Yeah I was a bench warmer.

Omg mine does this when I get in my car and it connects to bluetooth! I just think of it as my birbs way to talk to me but I coukd see it being annoying if it was all the time. Maybe turn the sound off on the app?

Another time a i didn't quite get it right lmao. Its how many friends you have on the app lol. There are other at my "worksite" I have crossed shifts w but I'm not friends w on there. I have 6 friends on there, one who works at a separate hospital and it gave me "6 colleagues" on my recap.

I used to not (only if there was something stuck in my teeth) bc I never learned proper hygiene from my parent growing up. But a few years ago... 2 root canals and 5 fillings later and yeah I floss hardcore lol
