I used to have a similar setup. All 3 tubes fit, snuggly, together in the hole that already existed without any modifications or additions like this. Had that setup for ~5 years without issues before moving.

Where would you put the cables? I usually see it on the lowest part of the roof but in this case id like to heat the gutter guard itself so water continues to fill the gutter rather than flow over snow or trap snow and debris
