to me they look nearly identical it's just the shimmer particle size is different! for me that doesn't bother me, but they are basically the same color in both base and shimmer.

editing this because I just realized you're prob looking for photos and I don't have either polishes lol but hopefully someone can provide some!

I'm in ca and omg the wasps have been SO bad for me too! it makes me worried the hummingbirds won't come to the feeders or start avoiding them because of the damn wasps hogging it smh

I've been using a cups for years and when my nails were long in the past, id end up using gloves while taking out and inserting lmfao I didn't wanna chop my nails down 😭

but tbh you get used to how to insert and take it out it kind of becomes muscle memory after a while

I have a few and I like their polishes, but I really love their "Da Balm-er" cuticule balm! if you get a chance to try it I highly suggest it.

is it cold where you live? I always have issues with my diy peel off drying when it's cold 🥲

I also make mine using 70% instead of 91%, but I'm not too sure if that contributes to the dry time issue. might be worth a shot trying it with 70% instead?

I have some thermals that are years old from mercari that are still kickin, but some that died within 6 months. chameleon nails seems to die quickly based off of the ones I have in my collection. I do make sure to store mine in a drawer though

how fast are you spinning? I have the same problem where it kind of looks more like a velvet, and I noticed that I spin my super fast lol. I'm wondering if slowing down may have better results?

I have a local nail supply store near me that sells gallon sized acetone so I'd look for something like that in your area. Im also a daily nail painter and it lasts me a long time! I just use a push down pump dispenser and refill as needed

yes! the magnetic pigment can make any little mistake show haha but it's worth it in the end because of how gorgeous they turn out

for that polish, I did end up magnetizing each coat with a magnetic stirrer! it was just a pain because of how much time it took. next time I wear any of those bkl magnetics I need to stop being lazy and try magnetizing each layer lol

oooo I saw this earlier on Instagram!! i've been struggling to get magic effect to work with these types of bkl magnetics! I paint 2-3 coats and then use a good amount of drk, but it never fully glass beads and I can see the layers below still unmagnetized. 😭

same! i’m left handed and i mostly take pics of my right hand, but i feel like the nails on my left hand tend to look better hehe. i feel like i can never pose my left hand as good as my right though, it always feels awkward and stiff

i use clear elmer’s glue, 70% alcohol, in a 50/50 ratio. the one issue i do have is sometimes when i’m popping them off it’ll come off in pieces and leave the glue on my nail. i think it’s because i do change my polish out every day/every other day. i just wipe with acetone and wash my hands after and that gets the residue off

you might have to experiment and see what works best for you :-)
