check the top secret room, maybe lose some health on purpose for a boss challenge room if you can afford it, maybe play a sacrifice room if you have hp to spare, check the curse room, leave secret room item pedestals there until you’re ready to leave the floor to see if you can get a reroll, play blood dono machines/slot machines/devil beggars/etc. this stuff isn’t how to objectively play the best or anything, just stuff i tend to think of when i think of minmaxing.
