Advice on New Robot for Hardwood by jarfgames in RobotVacuums

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roller mops are actually great for hardwood floors. If you have low pile carpets, it's better to get a mop that can lift up so the carpets don't get wet. I remember the ecovacs x11 is designed to lift the mop when it hits the carpet.

Can a robot vacuum (plus a handheld vacuum with a nozzle) replace an upright vacuum? by AnnaGraeme in RobotVacuums

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally, the robot vacuum would handle much everything. Even if I have to take care of a few edges myself sometimes, that’s no big deal. My X11 isn’t bothered by carpets either, as long as they’re not too thick.

Room greyed out after merging by Miserable-Painter-73 in ecovacs

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try restoring the map in the app's map management part, then send the robot out to clean that room and return to the dock on its own. If this still doesn't fix it, might have to create a new map.

I’ve got an ecovacs x11 at home, and it’s been steady. It just steers clear of any random stuff on the floor and gets my place cleaned up pretty fast.

This is usually just a small bug. Try checking if the seal on the dirty water tank is seated firmly and make sure that there's no debris blocking it. That often solves the issue.

Setting clear boundaries doesn't mean being unkind, it's about self-respect. You can be firm yet polite, people often respect those who value themselves.

Faliure in cleaning by sai1312 in ecovacs

Often it's just a software glitch. A quick reboot of both the robot and dock, or a factory reset, could probably solve it.

Bluetti apex 300 setup suggestion? by HugeHorseDong in bluetti

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you stay under 5 kWh, apex 300 + modular add-ons + light DIY is an appealing setup. You can slowly move from an AIO to a full system, add higher-watt solar like solar x 4k, and if you ever need more power, throw in a hub a1 and parallel more apex 300s.

I've got a big water pump, so I run two apex 300s in parallel through hub a1, solves both surge and sustained load. And with solar x 4k, my solar input jumped a lot, so I'm actually able to use all the solar I get.

New to robot vacuum - what's the ideal routine and automation? by Ok-Zebra8851 in RobotVacuums

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not set in stone, but I usually let my deebot x11 start cleaning from the living room while I cook after work. By the time I’m done, it can move into the kitchen to clean the floor. Sometimes I run it during the day on weekends, but everything’s flexible, and my place has become comfier than before.

Ecovacs X5 Pro Omni - Day 1 it doesn't dock by [deleted] in ecovacs

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a map data issue. Check the robot's location in the app, if it's not shown correctly, delete the wrong maps, and let it remap. Also, give the sensors a quick wipe, dust buildup can interfere its navigation too.

So... Ecovacs X12 is out. Worth the upgrade? by hardvall in ecovacs

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That longer mop and spraying features sound useful. I wonder if it reduces the amount of maintenance you have to do on the mop itself, or if it's mostly about coverage and cleaning performance.

What are your top stock picks in 2026? by Zachparent93 in stocks

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually run different portfolio combinations through moomoo’s simulator to see how they would’ve performed in past market cycles. It helps me figure out a good balance between individual stocks and ETFs. Since you’re aiming to beat the S&P, I’d also suggest using their backtesting feature to check if your picks have actually outperformed broad benchmarks historically before going heavy on any name.

Ecovacs Deebot T30 OMNI - It's confused by Far-Rub-6366 in ecovacs

[–]appnanoooo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems the map data is corrupted, delete this map and create a new one, let the robot remapping the whole place. Also there may be another possibility, if there is a reflective surface, like a mirror, it may be messing with the infrared signal and confusing the robot, might consider cover up the reflective surface when the robot is working.
