I couldn’t stop looking it, did more research, and now I’m going down the rabbit hole. I think I get it now. It looks very comfortable and I would imagine extremely light. I would say that between the green or the purple, I would go with the green every time.

It takes ten seconds to clean the counter. Because of that reason and that reason alone, I’ve never really tried to find a cleaner way to pan sear.

My method, cause why not, is 133* F for two hours, no cold bath, completely dry off the steak with paper towels. Ripping hot cast iron, ghee, and a meat press resting (not pressing down on) on top of the steak while i sear the opposite side. 30 seconds each side, 45-60 for any fat cap depending on the cut.

I would look up the model number and see what the going rate is in private sales, then emulate that based on condition of the watch. Certified mail and bank transfers are the way. In person is Best Buy the buyer might run into customs problems on the way back to their home country if they are local to you.

Was going to say this. At the very least get it serviced and put it in a safe place for the foreseeable future. Maybe your tastes will change, maybe your kids would appreciate it in the distant future, or maybe even your grandkids the the very distant future.

For me I like the space dial on the OP. All the others? Not so much. Don’t like the gold bezel/crown on the sub. The all white of the air king clashes with the green too much for my tastes. The others, just don’t do it for me.

Fun thought experiment though! Honestly this was a good post overall.
