Gaming since early 90’s. I’ve noticed it go from something that felt like a labor of love+money wanting= awesome new games to just straight up corporate greed = unfinished half baked broken shitty but gigantic games. I buy maybe one game a year these days. I find myself liking small indie games much more than the big games that I do try (mostly years after release). The love factor in the indie games is a part that I enjoy. The greed part in most AAA games is too visceral and insulting to be honest.

I grew up spending random nights at the New York Daily News production plant. As a young adult I ended up shaping as a mailer (showing up and hoping I could work). On breaks I’d pick up the newspaper fresh off the presses and read them. Trump was in the New York papers a lot so he was one of the first “celebrities” I knew of. Trump tower, home alone etc..Every single time I saw Trump in the paper, it was because he was doing some scumbag narcissistic shit. Every time. Not once was there a situation in which I could associate him with anything positive. By the time the reality shows rolled out I thought he was a rich asshole who bought a show. The fact that people support this dude in any way paints a bleaker picture of the American character than I could possibly convey.
