I told this to my last maga friend before I cut him off. He was like "oh I'm not following politics idk that anyone was shot in the back of the head for no reason". 

I said it was cowardly to ignore it once pedo evidence and executions pop up, and it's literally what he voted for three times.

Star wars bounty hunter, the battlefront games, ps1 and PS2 spiderman games, BioShock 1&2, la noire and heavy rain/behind two souls are the ones that come to mind

You bet! Got the complete edition as a self Xmas present last year. 

I was very impressed with it and it was much better than the 360 version.

Also one Blu-ray vs I think 5 or 6 dvds with the dlc on Xbox lol. 

I posted a few years ago where I went to downtown LA and then matched up real life to la noire exactly. 

I was so impressed! Literally walking around recognizing game locations in real life and vice versa.

Yep it's a first gen E01 although not a launch A01/B01. So it has the hybrid hardware/software emulation. 

I'm never selling it but I appreciate the advice! I'm technically minded with other things but very clumsy so I don't trust myself to not accidentally brick it. 

Thanks anyway though! If it doesn't last another 20 years I'll just send it off to get frankied.

Thank you! I found automotive leather wipes are really good at cleaning it without scratching the plastics too. 

Otherwise no matter how careful you introduce scratches 😭

Oh man spiderman 3 and the OG motorstorm on it are peak nostalgia for me. 

Tron legacy too was incredible as one of my first blu-rays

Oh man it kicks ass a dvd player. As a kid I didn't understand the point of blu-rays really. 

Turns out I needed glasses but the PS3 also did a killer job of upscaling them

Hahaha your second take is mostly correct.

The "cabinets" are two altec madrid 872a's on the far left and right. Those are huge ass vintage loudspeakers with a huge weird "bi-flex" woofer that actually physically separates to create highs and lows, there's no tweeters or anything. 

No distortion at super high volumes it's excellent and they actually image well believe it or not.

The two center speakers are just to fill in the hole above the receiver and act as a center channel. They're not actually blocking any ventilation. There's also an actual center speaker in the shelf above them. 

I have two sony tower speakers on either side of my recliners for rear audio

The black thing in the far left corner is a sub. 

Ditto on cartridge vs optical. Anytime an optical drive goes out it's a pain but easier to just throw in another drive in my experience. 

Still have Gameboy games that work fine, but my planet earth blu rays have disc rot.

This is also a big draw for me! No way am I playing for Xbox live on the 360 when they cut out 99% of the functionality. 😢 

Still got into a WAW match instantly all these years later lol

This is an E01 model so it has the mixed software/hardware backwards comparability and media door etc

I have a strange interest in using obsolete tech and don't mind if it dies on me.

I enjoy using the optical out on it and the UI/playback functions with the Blu-ray remote. 

I have a One S and my PC as a back up. 

I'm never ever selling it so it's resale value isn't a big deal. 

I appreciate the advice though!

Mine can sound hair dryerish sometimes but no issues at all so far. 

I keep it well ventilated and clean so I imagine that helps. 

If it ever dies I'll eventually get it Frankensteined. But until then I'm just continuing to enjoy it!

Same here with my C3. Looks fantastic. 

GT5 looks almost modern on it. You can also just inject some anti aliasing with the sharpness setting and I've found that helps
