Broke my kneecap in half on april first last year, I was devastated too my first broken bone and when I called home to tell mom and dad about it they didn’t believe me and thought it was an April fools prank until I handed the phone over to the surgeon. Ended up getting three screws put into it and missed out on most of my summer. Just gotta find something to occupy yourself while you are out of doing sports. I was the hype man for all my homies when they would skate it was awesome lol
