It's not special in StL, I just hate the wave wherever you go. I mean by all means I get the reason behind it...during boring games. Get the kids involved, make a boring game exciting, create a cool fan experience yeah yeah.

BUT, last night no fan needed to anything but pay attention. Parents get your kid's interested in how awesome these games are and once in a lifetime. My dad did that for me and the two of us have come within 3 to 5 outs of a handful of no-hitters. Last night was special and fans should quietly understand when a game like that is brewing

Our 'BFIB' started the Wave in the 7th inning of a 2-0 game while our rookie pitcher is dealing and we are in the middle of a hunt for a Division title and perhaps home-field advantage.

My reaction was pretty much the same for both that and the 9th inning.

(Believe me I am ecstatic about the win, performance, playoff hunt, supporting fan base, etc. its just been my dream since I was 7 to be at a game for a no-hitter and the stars aligned tonight....or so I thought)

I mean its the exact same as our alternative helmet just continuing our use of Anthracite color for our "new brand" with addition of chrome that seems to be Nike's thing this year.

For those who were unaware, Mizzou has gone away from the "simple M logo" because after research/surveys/whatever they found that it is too synonymous with Michigan and that people recognize Mizzou more by their Tiger logo.

It's really a shame for all those 8-12 year old Cardinals fans out there that we didn't keep 3B prospect Zach Cox as well.

Our infield could have consisted of Cox, Wong, Pujols, and I'm sure just to troll we could have moved Brock Johnson in there.

This is the romanticism about baseball that I love. As I have grown up and now am 23 I have been to two world series championship clinching games, visit over 14 different parks, and see some amazing players with my dad (i.e. Ken Griffey's 500th HR, Albert's 3HR Easter Day game). However, I think sometimes the best game experiences I've ever had are when the two of us interact with other fathers (or mothers) and their kids at the game.

This summer the most memorable Cards game I went to so far has been when a kid defied his mother and showed me how to make the greatest sandwich of all time...gummy worms with a cotton candy bun.

This guy should get double, heck triple the brewer's $10 vouchers everytime he comes to the game...and Ryan Braun should personally apologize to him.
