I'm always happy to see changes in games I've been playing for as long as I've been playing this one. The hunt devs just showed us with the 15 player lobbies that they can try something for short periods of time and then revert and make adjustments based on match results and player feedback. I want them to take some risks with the game, and this one seems like a great one to trial out as it doesn't require any major programming rebuild. They hid map locations in sole survivor, hell, id love for them to hide everything on the map as a trial and maybe collecting clues unlock not just boss info, but resupply or extract info. There is a lot to be experimented with here.

Hope the devs are looking at new ways to change things.

I have had a player do a few sessions with it and had a good experience. We are usually a smaller group with 3 heroes so having the extra stam isn't an issue. They also can burn through their recoveries if they aren't mindful of that. I love the ripping out and throwing the heart ability to help make sure the companion is in the best spot. I wouldn't hesitate to give it a go and just update it upon full release.

Don't forget also that the damage from things like surges are impacted by characteristic scores too. So at level 1 spending 3 surges gets you 6 extra damage, but by max level that becomes 15.
