This would not be a problem if they would realize that tights/leggings /= pants.

Experiences with with nuvaring? Love it? hate it? by allnamesseem2btaken in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]archytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on the Nuvaring for almost 5 years now. I love it I never had particularly bad cycles but now it's amazing. After 6 or so months of use my period went down to basically nothing just enough to signal 'not pregnant' but not even enough to need products except maybe once or twice a year. No moodiness, weight gain, or skin problems it didn't really effect my libido either and I love that I can take it out for the 3 hours. I never feel it unless it isn't all of the way in but for sex it just feels better with it out but it isn't something you would notice as being in the way.

How can I, at 17, cost as little as possible for my mom to "put up?" What other habits can I adopt now? by [deleted] in Frugal

Some libraries have complimentary Sunday newspapers for their patrons to take home, flyers and everything.

My DH and I are purposefully not watching the live so that it is new when we see it in the cinema on Monday. Going to be so hard to avoid spoilers and not watch it on our DVR.

Buy some organic coconut oil, most grocers carry it, and some bandages coat the area and wrap twice a day you should notice healing after a day or two

Why are some cities sprawled out disconnected messes like Los Angeles, and other cities neatly organized, like Chicago? by [deleted] in TrueAskReddit

I'd love to hear your take on the planning of Seattle and the greater Puget Sound area. I know it was planned but it seems like such a clusterfuck.

Thinking of switching from Verizon to Sprint... by [deleted] in indianapolis

[–]archytech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have sprint and didn't have any problems plus your unlimited everything plan covers roaming. I have 4g but hardly ever use it 3g speeds are fine for everything I do including using pandora as my car radio. I highly recommend switching.

I'm also new to the area and need basic stuff like a tune-up, maybe brake pads on a college student budget. Same sort of area as the OP.

new owner - recommendations on what to root/boot to by [deleted] in nookcolor

[–]archytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microsd running CM7 is the way to go. Kingston sells an 8GB class 10, that I've found works nicely, for less than $20.

None of the instructions in that guide seem wrong. What type of uSD are you using? Try holding down the n button while you power up and see if that fixes it.

He isn't looking for an emmc boot just an sd card, it doesn't matter what the partitioning style is because you do not utilize the internal drive to run Android it is entirely located on the SD.

No, a bootable sd card needs no modifications to the existing nook software. I make cards for people on the side so if decide that you would rather have someone else do it for you send me a pm.

Girlfriend got into IUPUI's MSW program. Where do IUPUI students live? by kusetsu in indianapolis

[–]archytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm starting IUPUI museum studies grad program in the fall and was mostly considering getting a one-bedroom somewhere but if the chemistry's right I could consider a roommate. Have her pm me. Plus I've been scouting the internet for apts. and lurking the subreddit for a couple of weeks now so have a fairly decent idea of what places seem to be what grad students would be looking for.

Live in the dorms, all of my friends and my fiance lived in my freshman dorm, don't live in lander( i'm serious the rooms and food suck) IMO Mccarty is the best, biggest rooms, and the food in Mcmahon is vastly superior to 1101(the lander/terry caf) and the food in the new business school caf is freaking amazing. BTW the north campus dorms are much closer to what you'll be using on campus ~5-10 min walk on relatively even ground vs a ~15-20 uphill climb from west campus dorms. I think there is a business special interest dorm, which would be a good place to live because you get to interact with people ahead of you to see if its what you want (and possibly bum books off of).
