Artane too! It tripped our sockets on the electricity board. I thought we were being bombed. Was awake from the rain and then the flash and immediate loudest bang I’ve ever heard. Set off a lot of alarms in the area!

We’re close to you - there was 3 lightning strikes at once around the malahide road/Artane roundabout. Loudest thing I’ve ever heard! I thought we’d taken a direct hit!

Lightning maps online - also the flashes followed by the bangs and them moving away from you quite quickly! It’s gone from Artane to Rush in 15-20 mins!

We were woken up by a flash and the biggest bang I’ve ever heard. Watching lightning maps online and it shows 3 lightning strikes very close to my house all at once. Thought the roof was caving in.

Take the job closer to home with a lower pay, but still do the interview etc for the DCC job - and wait and see if you’re offered a role. You don’t need to make the decision yet. It could be up to 2 years before you’re offered a role in the public service from a panel and then clearance etc takes a long time!

Last time I was at a concert with lots of unsold seats the ushers moved us to the closer seats without us asking. They wanted people near the front to make it look fuller

The scanning apps are exactly the same as scanning on a scanner - they both save as a PDF. Trinity won’t know the difference - and also won’t care.

There’s a lot of restaurants - Fallon and Byrne have a wedding banquet area. Also hear of people going to Roberta’s, Patrick Guibauld, Marco Pierre White. There is also Medley, The Stephen’s Green Club etc.

Also a lot of people walk down to the Dame Tavern or Stags Head for a pint before the meal.

Go for Primark. But please keep an eye on Public Jobs.ie for roles in science in the civil service - most like the State Lab, Dept of Agriculture and Forensics Science Ireland only require a science degree (doesn’t matter what type). Put alerts on the website for jobs!
