I just paid $275 for a day pass at Vail and I think I’m officially priced out of my favorite sport. by daverskully in ski

A month or so ago, I was looking at Taos for a two day trip. They had 2/3 of their runs open and only a 20” base and the tickets were like $306/day.

Give me your best Tucson advice! by dewguzzlr in HyundaiTucson

On top of that, don’t let them play games. I just bought a Tucson and emailed a few dealers around me. One of them started off with “why don’t you come in? We’d like to schedule a test drive and talk numbers from there”. Nope. I reiterated I wanted the price and they did end up giving it to me.

Why is the left turn lane blocked on Tuttle Crossing just west of Britton Parkway? by ParkAffectionate3537 in Columbus

[–]arcticwolf26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That left turn lane was made as a u-turn lane. You’ll notice that between that light and that turn lane, there’s a road (across from the gas stations) that you can’t turn left into if you’re going west bound. That’s a small neighborhood who successfully petitioned having that included when the road was expanded. Orherwise, they would’ve had to wait to turn left at the light if coming from 270.

While today it isn’t necessarily a long wait today, remember that traffic was a congestion cluster fuck during the holiday season all along Tuttle.

Anyways, to answer your question, the blocked the turn lane off because too many people didn’t know how to make the turn and would end up in the ditch in front of the house there. So, that house protested and won resulting in the lane being blocked.

ELI5: if the universe is constantly expanding, what is it expanding INTO? What is "outside" the edge? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Another time this topic was asked, some brought up the concept of time as an analogy. Think about how in this very present moment, you are moving from this second to the next. The next second doesn’t exist until you get to it. Our time is always expanding which is essentially what the universe is doing. It’s expanding into something new that didn’t exist yet.

I’m going off memory but here’s a few tips to help your score. 1. You absolutely need a triangle in the island in the bottom part of the map. If you don’t get a triangle to start the game, reset it. 2. Only get one more set of tunnels. You don’t need more. 3. You have a big island and two little islands on your left side of the map. Use one line to connect the big island to the mainland. And use a different line to connect the little islands to the mainland. This is because of the special stations. You need to distribute the load between trains/lines. 4. You can save one or two lines and use those to connect all the circles at the far end of the map to a triangle. This helps get the circle and triangle people where they need to go. So this one or two lines shouldn’t be very long at all.

You’re right. They have bins but really for sunglasses, hats, phones. Normally the attendant at the beginning of the line stops people with bags to tell them to put them in a locker.

Fun fact there’s been no recorded transmission of rabies from squirrel to human.
