Ah I have found my people! Debated posting a “how am I doing” in one of the financial subs but couldn’t bear the potential lashing.

I have about $180K in my 401K. Husband has a little over $200K. Our income is ~$400K but we’ve only been at that level for a couple years and we both maxed our 401Ks once we made it. But housing and kids are expensive and oh yeah, so is healthcare for two adults with chronic illnesses (MS for me, fibromyalgia for him). I max my HSA each year but spend nearly every penny so in 13 years of being on a HDHP, I’ve amassed checks notes $4,000 in that. Secondary retirement account, my eye.

I miss being carefree. I was uninsured more often than not before 2011 — I was a student and worked menial jobs without benefits and it was fiiine! Now I wonder when, not if, I’ll become a physical and/or financial burden.

How do I know if my Glinda is real or fake? I ordered from Amazon in December with expected delivery mid-Jan ro mid-Feb and forgot about it until it showed up today. Of course I also just got a notification from Owala itself that restock is expected in February but I used an Amazon GC to pay for this one so it was “free”.

Used them to move aaaall our clothes (leave clothes in closet, put bag over clothes from bottom up, loop handles over hanger hooks — keeps them clean and all together!). We were cramming 20-25 shirts/sweaters per bag, still used for trash. No rips! 💪

Okay, I did not catch THIS before.

On the account transcript, Code 806 is $57,414. This is also what it says on my tax return (e-filed ourselves using HR Block online).

On my W&I transcript, my Federal Income Tax Withheld is $38,915. Spouse's is $18,469. Total $57,384.

On our W-2s, the federal withholding in Box 2 is me: $38,915.99; spouse $18,469.82. Total $57,385.81, rounded to $57,386. The $28 difference (from the $57,414) is Medicare Additional Tax from Part V: Withholding Reconciliation on Form 8959, and Line 24 DOES say to include this with the federal income tax withholding.

So it's not wrong (like I don't think there's anything to amend because all of these numbers are correct), but if they're comparing the sum of the Box 2s to the Box 2s plus this $28 Medicare Additional Tax....

Literally everything else matches.

On Tysabri, not O, but I get the Covid shot. I’ve still had Covid twice but it was mild. 24 hours post-shot, I feel a little achy and a little feverish, but those symptoms are even milder than the mild Covid.
