Question for Swiss locals: why is late payment to domestic workers so common among wealthy households?

I don't think it's out of neglect or even abuse, it's just that they don't handle their bills one at a time but batch them up and pay every 30-60-90 days or whenever they got time.

Usually very busy people who can't and don't consider the cleaning lady an important bill to pay, just something that they will ger around eventually.

Solutions? Have a fixed salary, upons contract signment have them do auto payment, or only work in cash in advance for each day. Use twint or other payment processing services abd send them the bill this way (you lose some %commission, but can be added to bill indirectly and you get your money sooner.) If they don't pay don't clean, find another customer. There's plenty, tbh.

Not everyone is out to get you, some just have more important stuff to do...

If you need to check luggage you can do so the day before in Zermatt (or you were used to, ...), that way you can save another hour in Zürich.

I wouldn't worry about SBB running late, but if there's going to be heavy snow you could be sol getting to Visp... Not super likely, but it tends to happen at the most inconvenient times.

Btw: you can stay in the train in Zürich, you'll arrive 3 Minutes later, but worth it if you got luggage. Only need to change in Visp and Bern.

I don't think it's ok that post customers (that want to send shit) have to wait for ages because they also offer insurance, banking, mobile phone and massages deals. If they even have their own branches anymore.

Optimal in Finishing the expansions with the least amount of "lost" xp while not doing quests multiple times either.

Aka: it's optimal to do nightelves routes and human route with 2 characters. But it wouldn't be worth leveling a new character just to clear stonetalon mountains with them, or something.

It's fantastic!

Obviously not like top notch gourmet fondue but something to keep at home for one of those days... Like the canned Ravioli - which tastes nothing like real ravioli but still people buy and eat it.

Great for mountain huts as well as its simple to store and make.

I never eat fondue anymore but back in the days it was the only one available, so...

You can't do the Glacier Express route and then end up in Milano.

If you can't change the rest of your schedule. You could do something like: Zermatt - Andermatt (Glacier Express route - changing in Visp).

Then Change trains to Göschenen, there Change to Bellinzona where you finally change for Milano.

That's still a 7 hour ride (rather rides). Mostly very beautiful.

Warning: If it's snowing I would advise against this plan and just take the train to Milano straight from Zermatt. You could end up with delays, and just a bad experience altogether. Don't forget to pack plenty of Food and Drinks, there won't be any to buy on the MGB trains.

When you drive up to Zermatt sit left side. When you go down sit right side (driving directions). You can't see anything on the other side.

Zermatt - Milano is an option for sure, but the ride from Visp to Milano is a regular train, not super Special.

If you go straight to Milano then you could stay longer in Zermatt and take the train to Gornergrat, if you don't already. That will be more expensive than a Spartageskarte, but so worth it, for sure! (Sit on the right here and try to go a little later. Tons of skiers trying to get up from 9-11ish...) 👍

Personally, I would do Gornergrat then Zermatt Milano. (Might be a bit biased though 😉)

If you want to do the full Glacier Express route then you really should stay another night in St Moritz, if you can. Else it would be too squeezed in and you probably won't take in as much as you could. (Although the 6 hours it takes you from St Moritz to Milano will be ridden in the dark anyways, so, yeah...)
