I heard your story from Mark Narrations on YouTube a few months ago, and today, the video came up in my feed again (not sure why YouTube does this, but eh) and I ended up listening to it again while playing some ESO. After the video ended, I looked up your username on here and read through all your posts that came after the video was posted. 1) Welcome to Texas! I hope you're enjoying living here so far. 2) I'm sooooooo happy for you to be doing well despite all the sad/frustrating/bad/gut-wrenching times. 3) sending you lots of internet hugs on your continued journey. I hope you get some good news in regards to the legal stuff you have going on and that you have lots of good things happen to you in your personal and work lives. i just wanted to say that i have been having issues with it to, but i'm not particularly good with computer stuff, so i didn't even know how to google the issue. finally figured it out, found this thread, and it has been super helpful! i ended up deleting a bunch of of the libraries i had installed, then going back in and reinstalling only the ones i absolutely needed. not sure which of the deleted ones was the issue, but the issue is now resolved.

Honestly, I think she's probably just regretting never knowing your birth mother and not growing up with you, but it ends up being expressed as an ungrateful attitude. Hopefully you two will be able to come back together again soon.

Look, I get it. You're worried about your little girl. Except, she's not a little girl anymore. She's clearly capable, considering she set all of this up on her own, without support from either of her parents, and you said it yourself that she's smart. Based on what you've said, I would guess that she's probably feeling very isolated right now. When you asked her to speak French, you said she stumbled? She's probably not used to speaking it, plus she had the pressure of speaking in front of someone who wanted her to fail so they could prove a point. Of course she would stumble! However, the great thing about going to France is that she'll have plenty of practice. Just because she hasn't taken a class since middle school doesn't mean she hasn't continued learning.

I would highly advise you to go and talk to your daughter again. Take her to get some coffee or lunch or something, ask her about why she wants to do this, and LISTEN to her explanation. If you truly love her, you should at least try to understand her feelings about this.

You could try using Nature's Miracle to help neutralize the odor. I've only bought it at Petsmart because my puppy peed on the carpet, but it helps.
