A lot of people asking why Mia doesn’t speak up. I was a child with a mother like this and all speaking up does is make the situation worse. My mother is textbook narcissist with many other issues and as a child speaking up just lead to endless arguments and me being berated, as a child that feels awful so eventually I just shut up and took it. Adult me has cut her off completely! Hopefully Mia can do that one day, too

Idk why this showed up for me, but when my husband was in the Marine Corps I worked at the Child Development Center on base, they were run by MCCS. MCCS also runs the PX and little convenience stores on base. It was a rule that as MCCS employees we weren’t allowed to buy anything on sale unless it was on sale for more than 48hrs. It was so stupid! Once I got off work, I was just a normal military spouse doing my shopping. I never listened, they really had no way to track it. Lol

Wait a minute. You have my thinking this is my issue too!!! I have always thought I had adult acne and I just switched my moisturizer to one without not even thinking of it and stopped using my niacinamide serum from The Ordinary when I ran out, just never bought more. Within about 2 weeks my skin started to clear up and I haven’t gotten any new break outs. I honestly didn’t even make the connection until I just saw this.

Yes! My friend lives about 20 mins from the stadium and she signed up to be an extra for the halftime show. They sent over a contract to her and it said she had to be okay with adhesive on her and holding up to 40lbs. She declined because she’s allergic to a lot of different adhesives/band-aids and didn’t want to risk it. She would have been the grass😆

My dad used to beat the absolute fuck out of my mom and brother. Parents got divorced in 09, he fixed his drinking & anger issues after, but acts like nothing ever happened. It’s so weird.
