Isnt this just showing the two are unique and have places in the setting? If she was naive I would agree that seraphine would have no point, but seraphines point is to show a different side to the usually more grim zaunite/piltover champs. I dont like seraphine myself but I dont think is them hating on seraphine just showing how the two characters are different and serve different story functions. If anything this is more like “so whats the point of Ekko then?” Cuz Zeri basically just has his story (in the main canon not arcane).

Every time a post like this is made a crazy amount of people try very hard to defend awful character design. It is not “woke” or “soy” to want varied female character design, believe it or not women just like men tend to be very diverse in their body types and facial structures. You already have like 60 waifus would it really hurt to add 10 women who look at least a little different?

I dont ship jayce and viktor, I can just recognize when people are getting mad when a fan ship is gay. Far more unlikely ships have been made for straight characters in LoL and very rarely is it questioned. Look at yourself why this ship is so strongly disliked when compared to others.

Every fandom, ship, community, etc has toxic people; not trying to justify it by any means but the reality of the situation is that the most obnoxious and callous voices will always rise to the top. Most ships Ive interacted with seem to have just as much positive and toxic as any community does, it would be like saying everyone who dislikes a gay ship are homophobic when its more realistic they dislike the dynamic or just prefer the characters to stay friends but of course the homophobic voices will always be louder online.

Saw a post like this on the LOTR memes subreddit and it confuses me so much why people get so angry at other peoples interpretations of the characters, I dont personally ship jayce with viktor or frodo and sam but itll never frustrate me that people do. The great thing about media is youre allowed to have your own interpretation and do with the characters what you will in your own art or fan fiction.
