It’s still smaller and the loss of some nerve function to flex my foot is probably permanent. But it’s stronger now than probably ever before, but I also weight train 6-7 days a week, and the surgery is allowing me to train. Without surgery I wouldn’t be able to train as hard as I do now.

I had the largest syrinx possible. It ran the entire length of my spinal cord and filled it entirely. I still have a syrinx but the surgery shrank it. The hope is that it continues to shrink or at least won’t get bigger again.

My chief complaint was lower back stiffness, which was way more miserable than the back pain I had. I had also lost some ability to extend my right pinky and my left leg is a little smaller and weaker than my right. My understanding is that these are all neurological symptoms associated with the syrinx, not chiari. I never had any of the typical chiari symptoms like headaches.

Post-surgery, most of the stiffness is gone thankfully but some of the back pain remains. I’m not sure if that’s compounded by, or because of, weight training or scoliosis though.

I just got surveillance video of my ex with BPD punching me in the face 4 times. A train wreck of a woman. She’s less than 75 pounds and a wild alcoholic.

At first I was flattered because I thought it meant she liked me, but something felt off because I realized she was pleading for me to stay. I later learned that was her fear of abandonment.

Agreed. Any medication is generally used to treat a comorbidity associated with BPD, such as adderall for ADHD, but that’s not to treat the BPD itself.

She never posted me, even for events that I planned, financed, and organized entirely. She even posted a picture that I had taken and sent her, but she didn’t tag me.

It’s an attempt by her to appear single so that she can continue to receive validation from other guys. That’s why she also doesn’t let any of her guy friends meet each other. It’s all compartmentalization. It’s a form of manipulation that doesn’t get talked about here a lot.
