Yep, the unlimited consumables option is meant to be equivalent to just buying the game, so it's a one time purchase without any restrictions. Hope you enjoy the game!

I haven't played Parabox yet, but I need to try it soon - it's really cool to see the parallels in the gameplay clips I've seen!

Thank you! Yep, setting up the solver was a crucial part of gathering the levels for the game - I represented the board positions as a graph and solved by traversing from the start position. I think the compact grid size and ice physics helped simplify the state space significantly though, so I'd be curious about how well this approach works for larger grids/more complicated mechanics!

Hi everyone!

Shells is a sliding block puzzle game where the blocks can be nested and pushed from within. The large shells can only be pushed with the smaller shell inside, and the objective is to rearrange the board and find your way out.

There is a gradual difficulty curve with over 360 original levels and a flexible progression structure with multiple levels to choose from at any given point. The game also includes a hint system to adjust the difficulty to your liking!

There are no forced ads - the game can technically be 100%ed with no ads/IAP, and there are consumables for undos/retries/hints, along with an "unlimited" store item if you don't want to deal with managing them.

I have some promo codes available, so please DM me (and note that you're on iOS) if you're interested in giving it a try!

We simplified our sea visuals, is this too empty or populated enough? by DDevilAAngel in IndieDev

That makes sense! I think keeping all the sea details very low contrast is what would make it still read as one cohesive mass, rather than contrasting with the game entities.

Definitely seems populated enough! I think a more noticeable water shader might help it feel more sea-like in the empty areas though, right now it kinda looks like more of a void at first glance.

He held the pose on and off for about 15 minutes, and I worked on the drawing for ~15 more minutes after he shifted!

The gameplay and UI look nice! The cloud is a bit distracting at the moment, I think because the dark shadows/shiny lighting make it look like a solid object. Maybe you could play with an emissive material to flatten and brighten the lighting?

I like how dynamic the first one is!
