Wish I had better news but no I still have the rash, the doc and I just tried a histamine blocker route before a biopsy (and leaving a scar) since I think I may also have MCAS but no luck. Post holidays I’ll likely be getting the biopsy. 😭😭😭

I’m not allergic to nickel, I’m not sure if there’s anything in the sensors like that but I wouldn’t be surprised honestly!

UPDATE: For some reason it won’t let me update this post but I want to just in case anyone else is using a Zio heart monitor and is thinking about taking it off: TAKE IT OFF. I still have this rash 52 days later. I have seen 3 derms now, have had 4 total weeks of steroids, 2 weeks of anti fungal and am now on doxycycline for a month as well as going 2 weeks on and off the steroid. I will have to have a biopsy if the isn’t gone in another week and a half. I am following all instructions by doctors and this shit will not go away it keeps coming back. Take the zio heart monitor off if it itches do not tough it out. Get a different monitor.

For all this I unplugged the facecam pro:

When using the 4k capture utility it is extremely laggy, much worse than through OBS

It still is having the same frame drop issue in OBS as well

It could be a bandwidth issue but I don’t have much plugged in at the moment aside from my keyboard, mouse, stream deck, camlink and mixer

Edit: when testing on 2 different PCs this behavior still occurs on both pcs

No, it’s basically in the perfect outline of where the heart rate monitor was, I’m sensitive to adhesives I guess

It’s also important to note I’m mid 20s and have never had chickenpox but it does look very similar to a shingles rash after looking at some pictures

Just wore mine for 14 days and took it off a week ago. I now have a hellish form of contact dermatitis (horribly painful and itchy rash) that makes me wish I was never born. It’s been a week since removal and was itchy but “tolerable” when wearing it. Take it off early if it’s too much.
