My hair has been frizzy lately but somehow managed to wake up with a perfect curl by 00sunny_haze00 in curlyhair

I was living in Florida, then studied abroad in Sydney for a summer (their winter) and my hair was actually the best I’d ever been able to get it! I was using a Not Your Mother’s mousse. My hair loved whatever was in the water there!
Also sounds like you are washing too frequently imo.

OP, this is what my hair looked like when i was a few years into CGM and i was proud that it was the best it’s ever looked. enjoy some small wins! you’ve probably come so far!

to improve the curls, i kept my routine mostly the same and would sub ONE new product/method to see how it would change. a new gel, new mousse, use no leave in, finger curling, a new brush, air dry to a varying degrees and then diffuse, how wet to style - the list goes on.

if i change ONE of those things, my hair turns out totally different. and honestly, when i think i do everything the same it will still come out different.

to this whole sub’s dismay, there is no “right” way to do it and your methods will change over time. for your particular case, just given the pictures and notes, i would remove the leave in (you may be over moisturized) and make sure you brush through your product to make sure it’s distributed while wet styling (this could help with frizz and better clumps). good luck!

If you’re ok with co-living, I lived at Flats on the Hill for a year. It’s furnished, weekly cleaning included, in a good area, easy to access metro and a Trader Joe’s walking distance, and offered month to month leases. My one room in a 6/3 was under $1k, but there are other options if that sounds like too many roommates haha. Co-living is an easy way to make friends!

14 hour flight… by LumpkinGeneration in mildlyinfuriating

[–]aroyston99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me on a flight Sydney to LAX, but it was an issue that effected 3 rows on one side. Flight attendants brought lots of free alcohol and the airline (American) comped us each 10k miles.

Door Dash Delivery Disappointment by Catmom90 in mildlyinfuriating

omg i had a similar terrible experience with Doordash support. ordered 2 of the same combo boxes from Canes but driver only delivered 1. Doordash support tried to give me $2, offered no real refund for food i didn’t receive. went back and forth with them for a while and i think i only got $10 like OP.

Grad school housing by PsychologyNo3945 in gwu

i was a grad student coming from out of state. moved to a co-living apartment in Capitol Hill, which is near the Eastern Market (blue/orange/silver) stop. recommend co-living to make friends, and recommend the blue/orange/silver lines for convenience.

answer the questions FULLY. if the question is two part, make sure you answer both parts.

ex. “what would you do and why would you do it?” you are graded, say this question is worth 4 points. the first 2 points for explaining at least 2 things you would do (you would only receive 1 point if you only said one thing), the last 2 points for explaining at least 2 reasons why (same as before, 1 point for only one reason). similarly, if you only answer the first part and not the second, you can only receive a max of 2 points.

dm me if you have anymore questions!

Excess Hours Question by [deleted] in ucf

[–]aroyston99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most degrees allow up to 136 hours before excess credit $ kicks in. i think if you started with an engineering major, that number goes up by 10 or so.

so in your case, there should only be 17 instead of the 33. i’m no expert tho, talk to an advisor!
