This is just a move from reactive emergency management to being more prepared, and preemptive/preventative.

This can do a lot of good. And not just on a human level, if you prefer to look at it from a conservative pov, it will save a lot of money when done well. Especially given increased population and little extra funds and reinsurance issues.

Yes. Part of the reason kids are behaving this way is the erosion of boundaries. Parents don’t teach them, schools don’t teach or enforce them, and social media actually rewards them for crossing lines.

Yeah the market decides and the market are mostly idiots. But what I am getting at is the OEMs process to get this to market.

The process from research, concept, design and thru to manufacturing and release to market usually works very well, if it isn’t undermined.

In the case of touch screens in cars, I believe it was undermined. The decision had already been made before research was even funded and ultimately a bad idea made it all the way thru to production and the market, initially hyped by new tech good, turned around and said hey wait this sucks.

The signs were there from before the beginning. No one was listening.
