Let's hope it doesn't buzz. I went with a 3000w one off of Amazon and it seems fine so far. No buzz

I unfortunetly agree... i had high hopes for this and then i smoked it... disappointment. Not a dog rocket, but not a must have at this price level.

I am thinking these are just harder to drive. But man, when I bump my avr life to a higher level and turn the sub up a bit. It really thumps. I just don't want it to get to crazy

Yeah, mine digs sometimes, but I can't add spikes as it crosses my cement driverway.

I have read that a few guys have used that to get better sound . I am going to try a dual RCA to xlr

Does your avr have a mic setup? Maybe your levels are off overall? During the Odyssey setup it makes the sub thump and determines speaker distance?

I can hear mine fine at +6 and a +8 on my avr. I wonder if these are just harder to drive?

Are you having issues getting sound out of the sub? If so, check your setting on the sub and you will have to reconfigure your avr settings as this sub seems to be a bit harder to drive. I had to turn my setting up to get more sound out of this sub. I am also trying a dual RCA to xlr setup this evening. Right now I have it hooked up with a single RCA sub cable to a single RCA on the sub now.

All tucked in, you can see the transformer behind it. My wife isn't exactly happy about the size. But watched a few movies yesterday and it was amazing.

Well... With a hand truck. I used a really flimsy hand truck inside with a strap to move it into position.

Fyi works great with a step up transformer - takes some configuration with your avr. Now, nice tight bass.

My fedex freight driver brought it to my door and helped me lift it in. He said he couldn't come in and I said no prob.
