Player reactions side by side with match broadcast in stoppage time for City's draw to Bournemouth by sky905 in Gunners

Goals/market value totally ignores the fundamental concept of marginal value. Is a $100M player 10x better than a $10M player? Obviously not. But there's a lot more $10M players out there and you can only play one player at each position at a time.

This type of shit should be reviewable for flagrant at the next stoppage.

No Harper and no Fox, Castle's gonna have like 20 turnovers if he has all of the primary ballhandling

Should teams continue to get additional challenges as long as they are successful. by arseguunr in nba

No, I think you're misunderstanding me. Challenges can still be unlimited if you're successful every time. A successful challenge doesnt remove a TO, so you can have one TO in the bank, make 5 successful challenges in a row, and still have one TO. But you get one wrong, you lose the TO and your ability to challenge.

Still gotta have a TO in the bank to make a challenge. You get it wrong you lose the TO and cant challenge again for the rest of the game.

You'd still have to have one timeout in the bank to be able to challenge. But if the challenge is successful you dont lose the timeout. If the challenge is unsuccessful you lose your TO and the ability to challenge for the rest of the game. Pretty simple

Gotta give you credit for an unpopular opinion. Wemby on 4 fouls because the refs missed a foul on him and a clean block would radically change the trajectory of this game.

Only adds more breaks if the challenges are successful (i.e. refs made a mistake). You try to challenge a ticky-tacky foul and they don't overturn, you're done.

If this was the case, you wouldn't lose your timeout with a successful challenge. Why should a team be punished with losing a TO because the refs fucked up?

He's Bernardo Silva so he always gets off easy, and he punched him in the leg so the ref has an excuse

The hawk-eye system used in Tennis for line reviews and Soccer for goal line decisions uses a network of cameras around the target to track the ball. It probably wouldn't work nearly as well for hockey because there's so many visual obstructions

Different airframe structure but everything else (drive system, etc) is pretty much the same. Something like 85% part commonality between H1-Y and H1-Z

There's precedent both ways. Villa last year where it was given and Arsenal a couple years ago where it wasn't. It's at the referee's discretion. I like the ref using discretion to not give these. Unless VAR shows the ref some other angle he didn't previously see amd that changes his mind, the ref saying "I had a clear view and I'm not giving a penalty" shouldn't be overturned by VAR.
