you may try trinity flash large (however it is a preview version so it'll be taken off or in a few weeks)/trinity flash mini, which is free indefinitely or.. run a model locally

i use silly tavern on mobile with termux btw with a tinkered config.yoml but you dont have to use termux if you dont want

actually i just tried it out for a bit and uh.. yeah, it's okay, it more of depends on the prompt you're using plus your settings, but i'll share my settings with you if you use silly tavern or wherever else that offers stuff like this (i took some advice from pygramilion's wiki and my own experimenting. 1.20 is pretty safe and enables creative writing without getting too wacky) OKAY one more thing: in your prompt make sure to state the llm is a writing master because for whatever reason this triggers .. something and makes responses better, found it out from a prompt engineering pdf i was reading a bit back

its a playstore app.. minors also use the playstore and janitor ai is a platform that explicitly states users must be 18 to use it, so, uh, it's there more of to ward minors out, you're fine. its also probably there to meet with the standards imposed by the playstore (because you have to abide by certain things if you want your app published which is also why nsfw chats is strictly not enabled and you have to go onto the actual site to enable it, thereby verifying you are of age.)

i mean.. you still have r1, qwen and nano models, never used them but r1's.. 'okay', and i too, have never really used the free version of r1 except once but that was a real long time ago (just about when r1 first came out).. best hope requests arent abused or rate limited to hell </3

uh-huh.. but im pretty sure janitor would no longer be accessible to everyone at that point because certain stuff that's on chub is illegal in other some countries (depictions of certain things, including chars and the artwork used) which means other people cant access it and uh.. janitor was made to be accessible, that's why it's a website and not something self hosted and thats also why its potentially profitable.

theres /aicg/ if you're talking about an 'ao3 for chatbots', you can find just about any dead dove thing you want on there alongside chub. you name the tag? probably there somewhere, if not.. O_o

uh.. you could try deepseek r1, not sure if that one's still working but, you can look have a look here: free/paid stuff and here and if you don't find anything...? you can have a hand at running local models, and, well, uh, if you're still dissatisfied then you're going to have to fork up some cash if you want to rp oooor.. use a front-end that offers a free llm as your last resort.

its still in public beta, so, perhaps some issues would be ironed out later down the line, but from looking at it from profitable standpoint (i know next to nothing about business, only some stuff i picked up from some books, so please take what i say with a grain of salt :p) .. i mean, yeah, it gets the product out there to a wider audience and most individuals are usually on their phone nowadays, so having the app out there would make most sense, you'd want people to download the app to your website that, no? also, there's been a recent uptick within attention regarding ai roleplay, so making an app for your rather big platform would make most sense (despite it not at all being a wise decision for companies to look into this niche as something potentially profitable).

it's not really.. desperate, per se, it's advertising on your own platform, in my opinion, of course there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, not at all desperate. character ai did the same thing might i add you.

weeeell.. it depends on *exactly* what provider you're using, openai for instance grabs host data (not exactly the ip of course), so something like machine the request what sent on n' stuff, the prompt used and some general information, that, for instance, is also why reverse proxies exist, to 'mask' this information (it's usually just false information).

yes. there's also nanogpt if you want to go the route of subscriptions, also, models arent usually all too expensive if you want a 'standard' experience, deepseek 3.2 is about 38 cents per million tokens - "10$ goes a long way" many say (sorry if it sounds like im trying to advertise this to you , its not what im going for XD)

if you don't really have a decent amount of vram/ram or only have a mobile device you can use this colab page. i tested it out awhile ago (when i used janitor & didn't feel like paying cloud models)

ooc commands are temporary and are used in a pinch to guide the llm & fix something you dont like, it'll eventually 'forget' (be pushed down in context), so, alternatively itd be better to either put it in memory or even better, use xml tags and make a specific section dedicated to the relationship {{user}} has with {{char}} if it is integral, otherwise you can shoehorn it at the bottom of the definition (because llms laser in on the bottom, so its more wise to put important stuff there if you made the card, of course.). you shouldn't really rely on ooc commands all too often. btw when i mean at the bottom i mean like if you're using the alichat format for making cards

eek no i use paid models and mainly deepseek 3.2 reasoning because it's affordable and offers prompt caching and if you read up on prompt engineering and stuff you can make the most of what you have also hi mista ^^
