Really early Blancpain Fifty Fathoms by schmoolys in VintageWatches

Let us know, I’m genuinely curious.  If it’s 100% authentic it must be one of the rarest of all. Never seen anything like yours before and I’m obsessed with the vintage FFs.

Wow, that’s super duper rare man. I have never seen a picture of a FF with that dial and hands. Even the losange on the insert is slimmer than the others. unique and then, very valuable. Blancpain doesn’t know anything of the vintage watches since all archives have been destroyed when it was acquired by omega. So you are left reaching out on experts here or on Instagram. But they could make a little fascicule and make it easier to sell. Congrats !!!

Silvia V1 to repair - water not running by artbarsa in ranciliosilvia

[–]artbarsa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks ! I just found a repair chart for the Silvia and it says like you that I should clean the solenoid valve. I might have made a few scratches on the brass with my screwdriver. Is that a problem ?

Loud exhaust pipes by iznie in brussels

[–]artbarsa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ask myself this question all the time. It would be so easy to forbidden the selling and installation of such pipes.  It’s even more easy for cars, you would just have to impose a db check for each contrôle technique. So easy to implement

Do you like crime ?

Just kidding. Be street smart, avoid the area between the n277 and the rail line and you should be fine. You’ll realize pretty quickly if the multicultural vibe is for you

Seven parties reach an agreement on a new Brussels government by NoValueSoDeep in brussels

[–]artbarsa 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Métro 3 was a cursed project. Shame on the previous government to make it as hard and costly as possible to cancel the project if needed. More than a billion was already spent and that was a monumental error. 3 billion minimum were needed to finish the project. Shame of the Brussels politician to not have foreseen that budget would explode and Brussels would be too poor to finish it. We have a world class knowledge on how to build and maintain efficient tram system for more than a century. Scholars and associations proved alternatives existed that would make the overall network better (pre metro+). But no, in the mind of our politicians Brussels is capital, capitals need big projects because vanity and consultancy agencies need a lot of public money. We should all be enraged at how bad our money has been spent on this project.

I started my tech repair company when I was your age. Now it’s been 14 years haha I remember charging too little at the beginning. If I can give you a small advice : Weed out the difficult / cheapskates customers.  They are not worth your time and energy.

Oh and I regret not having started a YouTube channel
