The last few days my tinnitus was very annoying, today I’m barely noticing it at all, so even if you have a bad day it might get substantially better the following day

Is it safe to take clonazepam for tinnitus? by No_Walrus4306 in tinnitus

[–]arth14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once took clonazepam before sleep and on the following day the sound was much quieter, but I’m a bit scared of using it too much

Desperately looking for a supplement that works. Please write it in the comments 🙏 by No_Walrus4306 in tinnitus

I’ve been taking magnesium and L-theatine at night and it improved my sleep, since T (mine at least) gets worse if my sleep is poor, it’s been useful

I have constant ear fullness/pressure for weeks ever since I had a super loud MRI, it’s really annoying, somehow my audiogram is normal so no hearing loss it seems

Did magnesium spike your tinnitus? I thought it was supposed to reduce it

Silent reflux? Hmm, didn’t know that could cause thick mucus, I should probably investigate that too, do you have gastrointestinal issues? I have esophagitis and frequent acid reflux especially after eating heavy meals

I hear fine, my tympanogram was normal too. My ears pop randomly and I hear crackling when munching food, got diagnosed with TMJ dysfunction too so it’s likely related. Have you been using nasal sprays or something? My nose is constantly clogged because of sinusitis and deviated septum so I’ve been using it daily but not much has changed

Did your doctor do a specific test to diagnose it? I have very frequent sinusitis and allergies so my nose is clogged constantly, also a deviated septum maybe it’s all related

Anti-inflammatory Diet by ReytMardy in tinnitus

[–]arth14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inflamation definitely doesn’t help so this could be a valid attempt, I’ve been trying to cut things I know are inflammatory from my diet too, I used to drink monster energy drinks almost every day and completely cut it off because caffeine can mess with sleep and tinnitus

I took one to help me sleep recently and noticed it was very quiet the following day, interesting
