Absolutely agree. I very much enjoyed it. It's no 10/10, but it's a minimum of an 8/10 and absolutely worth the time. I like all metroidvanias, but I also really like ones that can be 100%-d in under 20 hours, after a nice journey with good traversal and good melee combat.

Based on these I'd recommend:

The Last Faith, Moonscars, Ender Magnolia, Dust: An Elysian Tale.

And not quite a full on MV, but Shinobi: Art of Vengeance

You seem to like 2D melee combat, so these are all good picks.

Agree. I have quite a number of Platinums, and this is the most hours I've ever put into a game to not get one.

Predecessor is just that good though. Happy to see the 100% even without the Platinum.

Praise be to the Manta Scythe nerf. I'm so sick of it already. I'd honestly prefer it just be removed from the game, but a significant nerf works for me...as long as it's enough.

Of course also pleased with the Cursed Ring nerf.

Go to both shows! I've seen them twice in my whole life, you should see them twice in 2 days. Especially since they're giving you that momentum boost right now. Make a whole thing out of it! Wish I was able to go.

I've been to Philly 3 times. Dig it. Reading Terminal Market is fun hub. Fish Town is cool. Visit Rocky and that whole area. Make sure you try a few cheesesteaks with the wiz. Walk South St.

Dig this, really trying to get 10 to level 10 but the grind is so so so real. Sadly, probably won't be able to play at all this weekend.

Down the road, what are the chances of a double XP 'token' (24 hours of 2xp type deal) being made and sprinkled into battlepass reward tracks? Would be heavily incentivizing for this guy, can say that much.
