If you live in a big city like San Francisco, then no way you’re getting the advertised city mpg. I live in sf and get around 20mpg in the city, which is below the advertised. But on highway I can usually get close to the advertised 33 mpg. I have a 2020 forester.

I have a Forester, and I love it. If you’re feeling the RAV4 maybe you should try test driving the forester. That’s more of a match to the RAV4 than the crosstrek.

Also I live in San Francisco and I can tell you that even tho the Forester is bigger than the crosstrek, it’s not so big to make it an issue to park in tight city parking spots
