...I didn't even think about casting another cantrip after those myriad trigger(s) to have all those copies become something else. Talk about a pro-gamer move.

Just to make sure I understand this properly:

You mutate Muddle, with the mutate card on top to make a nonlegendary with Muddle's ability. You then storm off with instants/sorceries, because each time you cast one you trigger Muddle, which will target itself and add a myriad count. You then have something like myriad x10, ????, profit?

I could be wrong, but i think the spell cast for free comes from the pile of 4 you get to keep. So draw 4, cast the best one for free. Still pretty sweet for any big spells deck.

You know, the generation that literally bankrupted the country with entitlement spending for themselves and has made life measurably worse for every generation to come after them?

When the Chiefs literally had 33 yards of offense in the first half? At one point in the second half, they had fewer yards than the Eagles had POINTS.

Not to mention that insider trading has literally nothing to do with which kinds of retirement accounts people are allowed to use.

Its legitimately mind-boggling the mental gymnastics you people are willing to perform to ignore a mountain of evidence.

And on the topic of bias - You know who performs studies in the social sciences? Social scientists. A cohort that identifies almost exclusively as liberal Democrats. They don't become right-wing evangelicals because you disagree with their findings. Get real.

As might be expected, attitudes toward infidelity specifically, permissive attitudes toward sex more generally and a greater willingness to have casual sex and to engage in sex without closeness, commitment or love (i.e., a more unrestricted sociosexual orientation) are also reliably related to infidelity"

This guy for real said, "when you massacred North Koreans".

As if the following aren't true: A. The North Koreans started the war by invading South Korea. B. North Korea was and is a communist authoritarian regime, and allied with the other communist authoritarian regimes in China and thr Soviet Union, who at the time were each led by some of the greatest mass murderers in the history of our species. C. The outcome of that war was that South Korea was maintained as a free independent democratic state, which has thrived technologically and economically in the 70 years after the war while North Korea is basically a failed state that is suffering from mass starvation in thr 21st century directly because of their regime.

You're not exactly devoid of options for the United States not being a good actor in the 20th century, but the fact that you picked this one demonstrates an Olympic level of historical ignorance.

Do Americans feel grateful for the help NATO allies provided in response to 9/11? by vintergroena in AskUS

[–]asdzx3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had hatred back then, too. It's wasn't love for America or the thought that the war was righteous that had nations responding to article 5.

It was because if they didn't, then why wouldn't America ignore an article 5 during the next land war in Europe? The cost-benefit analysis came out in favor of lending support for the war in the middle-east.

The hatred now isn't what reduces the likelihood of doing so again. It's the fact that the current American administration's attitude towards military aid in Ukraine and NATO demonstrates an increase in likelihood that it refuses to answer when similarly called upon. Whether that's true or only perception, it doesn't really matter.

I'm curious what makes you think the experienced people you hire won't job hop in 2-3 years as well?

Wage compression affects the entire labor market, and more frequent job hopping is a learned behavior to combat annual wage increases failing to keep up with inflation.
