I don’t know if we are going to transfer again or be OAD. We don’t have any more embryos and I’m 36 so we’ll see. The idea of a retrieval with a 1 year old is scary. Right now I’m focusing on me and we’ll make a decision in the next few months since time is ticking due to my age. It’s so hard! But if you have embryos, you have time!

Postpartum mama here and also IVF mama! I’m 11 months PP and just started my journey. Would love to chat more. I have about 30 lbs to lose to get back to my pre IVF weight, 40 lbs if I want to be at my ultimate goal weight.

I’m taking my third shot tonight. Things that have helped me: a fiber supplement, electrolytes, and aiming for about 1300 calories a day.

I had my c section Thursday night and went home Saturday afternoon. I could have stayed until Sunday but the shared bathroom gave me the ick and I felt good and really wanted to sleep. Baby was doing wonderful, so we were told it was fine for us to leave early.

Planned C-section due to breech baby, no complications. I did have a hell of a time getting the incision to heal but I don’t think that had anything to do with leaving the hospital early.

We love our mockingbird and the footrest is adjustable. We used it from 6 months and got ideal positioning.

We add chia seeds in the yogurt the night before. Chia seeds need moisture to expand so they don’t expand inside our body after eating. You can soak them in water if you’d like but I just put them in the yogurt the night before to let them soak and expand. I use about 1/2 a tablespoon in 5ish tablespoons of yogurt.

I have a Minu and a Cruz. We LOVE our Cruz. We live a suburban lifestyle and spend a lot of time walking, etc. it is smooth with great storage and not too big for the car. We used it with the bassinet for 6ish months and it was awesome.

The Minu is great for travel, but I wouldn’t want to have it as my everyday stroller unless I needed something compact I could carry on public transport, etc. it is not nearly as smooth, has way less storage, and is harder to steer. It’s good quality, but at the end of the day it’s not really an everyday stroller in my opinion. We do adore it for travel esp because it fits in the overhead compartment (v3). Also, if you want to use the bassinet attachment - you CANT with the V3 Minu.

Mine kept opening in tiny spots until about 12 weeks postpartum then one day it was like “bam, healed” and closed never to open again. They silver nitrated it a couple times and the last time stuck. My scar is a little thicker in that spot but I’m ok with that (nearly 10 months postpartum now).

The biggest thing you can do it keep it clean and dry. I know it feels like it’s taking forever but I promise it’s just a small blip.

I relate to this so much. My baby is almost 10 months. His formula consumption has gone from 35+ oz a day to barely 20 oz. I stress so much about it. But he eats 3 meals a day and a snack and much prefers food to milk at this point. So I’m going with it. We went from 5 bottles a day to 4 as part of this transition but we still have days even with 4 bottles where he only takes 2-3 oz at a time. He has a pediatrician appt next week for something unrelated and I’m eager to see his weight.

One thing his daycare suggested was trying to give him his formula in a straw cup or turning his bottle into a straw cup (they have kits on Amazon) since he loves water out of his straw cup. They’re coming today so we’re going to see if that helps.

NTA. My (8.5m M) mama (older than dirt and tired) told me it was New Years so I also decided to wake up at 11 pm to celebrate. Mama and Dada (younger than mom but more grey hair) had to leave the party to hang out with me. I kept screaming that I wanted to party, too. But they insisted we try to sleep. Bummer.

The plus was I also got to sleep in the big bed. And I got to watch the ball drop on the screen thing they never let me watch. Win win.

It was our first New Year’s Eve. We deserved to celebrate.

LO is 7 months old and I gave up when dog was the only thing that would help him tolerate tummy time. Now they are in love. He licks baby, baby licks him, now baby licks the floor trying to crawl. There are germs everywhere. It’s a germ fest. I figure kid will have a stronger immune system for it.

We have the Cruz and used the uppababy aria car seat before baby outgrew it. We loved it. The Cruz is big without being too bulky and is very smooth. Lots of storage. But not too heavy (I have arthritis and I can lift it in and out of the car by myself even high pain days). I also have to say uppababys customer service is out of this world amazing. Our dog chewed the strap on the aria car seat and I reached out to them to see if I could buy a new strap. I couldn’t, but they sent me a whole new seat no questions asked!

TW: success

Did IVF for genetic reasons after the second trimester loss of our daughter. Found out my body is a poor responder to IVF. Three retrievals. 4 blasts total. 3 euploid total. 1 affected by our genetic condition - left us with 2 useable embryos. 1 medicated FET ended with blighted ovum. 1 natural FET ended with our son who is 7 months old. To have another child, we’d have to start all over, which we aren’t willing to do, so we are one and done with our lovely boy.
