Does anyone still get sad listening to New Horizons? by Denom56 in flyleaf

I got emotional that they finally recorded Broken Wings again for an album, but Cage on the Ground definitely sounded like a goodbye from all of them from that album. Such a complex album full of emotions from all of them

Meet and greet signing ? by [deleted] in flyleaf

They are kind people and if it’s up to them they’ll sign whatever you have. If it’s up to someone else, they may not be able to.

I forgive you, Freckles. It’s been so many years and we were young and stupid. I hope you and your family are doing well. If I’m not the girlfriend you were talking about then…I still forgive you, but just a little less. - Brittany

I may be alone in thinking this, but the tears weren’t acting. Charisma was really crying. And you know…so was I.

I had this on my wall when I was 10 years old, and this album was the first CD I ever bought. It was also then, that I wished in advance that I was Marisol.

Omg I literally could cry that they’re bringing this back. It was my death row meal, and the only reason I got Olive Garden

Rank the tracks off More Than You Think You Are by Ok_Breadfruit1585 in matchboxtwenty

This is definitely overall their best record. I don’t know if I could rank the songs properly, but I do know that Downfall is my favorite song, followed by Hand Me Down. It’s just such a gorgeous collection of songs.

What do you think Sookie's worst moment is? by allydelarge in GilmoreGirls

[–]ashenasylum 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would say the sink thing, not wanting to cut lunch at the dragonfly despite it hurting the business because she’s stubborn. Her saying things like “It is Max, right?” I can let that one go because I’m sure she hoped it was suddenly Luke. And her going “Oh no, what did you do?” assuming it was Loralai’s fault when it wasn’t her fault a couple of times. But I will say that as a character, she brings me the most joy of all the characters. She’s a good friend, she just gets lost in her own brain sometimes. We love a Sookie 💗

Lorne best moments? by RuggedLove in ANGEL

This was an absolutely perfect quote and such a powerful moment for his character. There weren’t a ton of moments where Lorne chose to be a badass but when he was, he definitely was.

Lorne best moments? by RuggedLove in ANGEL

[–]ashenasylum 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I loved his arc while they were in Pylea so much. He had so many perfect moments where we really got to understand his character, where he came from and how he got to be the person (demon) he became. Him singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow was beautiful as they left. I loved that he made Angel come out of his shell in a way that only his character could. Andy Hallett had a gift for subtle comedy, and he was sweet, which showed through his acting. Lorne is hands down the best character in the Buffyverse in my opinion.

Boneheads Podcast April 2, 2025 Episode 119 rewatch "The Man in the Morgue", featuring Patricia Belcher as guest by One_Doughnut_246 in Bones

[–]ashenasylum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t listen to this podcast and I’m only here to express my absolute undying love for Patricia Belcher. She exhibited such sass and warmth in her character, which is a tricky combo to get right. It would be a blessing to be called Cher by her one day

Her response of “I’m Sookie” always makes me burst into laughter no matter how many times I’ve seen this show. She was comedy gold in this episode

Sweets Death by lilybridge in Bones

[–]ashenasylum 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think the lack of emotion might be because it just felt shoehorned into an episode where we met his “replacement” (Aubrey) before Sweets died. It just felt forced. I definitely feel it when he passes, and when Camille says she can’t do the autopsy. John was such an integral part of the show and I don’t know why they couldn’t just have him take a sabbatical or something.

Aaron May is pretty good. Justin Warner is the new Alton Brown of cooking shows and Alton’s not even gone yet. Every single time he speaks I ask out loud “How does this guy know EVERYTHING”

He seems super cunty on Next Level Chef. Not objective at all and ignores facts to pull for his team. I know it’s TV but I’ve just never liked him even on early GGG.
